Had a melt down

Guys i had a melt down for near two years and it was crazy... I drank like it was water, i will not name the drinks in question and i nearly ? you fill in the blanks..

Since i have been here, it seems all was well and i was posting and having a laugh. But deep down i was in pain and it was just hell over the last year and a half.

I put a front on, because its what you do to hide the pain and that wall is very hard to get over and i am still in a stage of recovery

So if i am out of sorts and post odd things, i am sorry in advance and i will make sure to keep it at a low level...

I know in the past i have posted threads that made no sense and mad posts that have no meaning or end to them...

But this is not a joke nore an attempt at feeling sorry for myself... But a heads up to whats really going on with me

Are you an alcoholic? If you are, you should consider getting help.

We usually have melt downs when something huge and negative occurs in our lives. It messes us up for a long time. I know of people now who are still trying to get over their nervous melt downs.

I think, just to be safe, you should look at getting real help, not help from a forum, but from a doctor. There have been people who end up taking their lives because of a melt down.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

I don't really know you so you can ignore the question if you please but what type of steps are you taking to recover from your melt down?

I don't know the degree of your meltdown but it's a serious matter. Don't isolate yourself and try to go at it alone. It's best to have people supporting you. Whether it be family, professional help or even our psu community, don't be afraid to ask for help or just talk.

I am not going to cry and say how much of a dick i was or still am... And i am not looking pitty or people to feel sorry for me... I trust you guys and i am happy to open up here. Its up to you on how you take this and how you reply.

Go ahead and open up. If someone comes into this thread and flames you or says stuff inappropriate, just ignore it.

But remember, if you feel so bad you want to take your own life, you will need professional help. No one on this forum can help you with that unless they are a mental health professional.

but i put this thread up, because again i trust you guys to reply with post that are either positive or negative and in my way i will reply and always be honest. Its not an attempt of purity from the pain i was in or the little i am still in. Getting it out and of my chest is helping me

I have seeked help from doctors and family and i have taking steps to improve my life.. I am training in social car and relations. I am moving on.. Its hard and i am getting there..... I just feel its time to let this go by talking about it

Its a heavy topic to bring up for any person and i am not the only person on the planet to have this happen to them, but people deal with things in different ways and this is my many ways to deal with this

one can say that, but you have to seek out you self first before you reach out to others for their help and support and i did. I feel alot better for it and i still have abit of pain and unknownest about myself. But that will go over time
