Can a husband rape his wife?

Can a husband rape his wife? In other words, if two young people get married and the woman says she doesn't want to have sex the next night, can that be classified as rape? So can a woman have something done if her husband rapes her or is it no matter what happens, it's not rape?

Another thing, can a wife sue her husband? Like if a wife's husband damages her vehicle, can she sue him for the repairs if he refuses to fix it or pay to fix it?

As always, different laws in different countries. But here in Sweden the husband is not allowed to demand sex.

As for property laws, the owner of the vehicle has all the rights to any claims. (Unless there's a divorce without a prenup)

Of course they can. Rape is something extremely painful. If a woman is not down to business, her vagina is just not going to be ready for the task and can get really hurt. She can sue if she wants.

If she/he doesn't want to have sex that night and they go against there will then it's rape. Simple as that.

So why even ask the question in the first place? Being married doesn't make rape exempt from non-consensual sex.

I can't help but feel the way your asking the questions are as if you are looking at it from a view point where the man has more rights than the woman. Can a wife sue her husband? Do you think a Husband can sue his wife?

As per a case in 90 or 91 it became illegal for a man to rape his wife (R v R case)

It's crazy how it's only been illegal for just over 20 years. (In the UK)

On the second question, unless he caused the damage; I'd be very surprised if he's in any way legally responsible for effecting repairs.

If he did cause the damage, he'd be liable for the costs.

That would be a good way to get away with it.

Just make sure you have prior role playing EXPERIENCES with her, so when the judge ask why did you do it? You can say you we're playing a rapist and then you can follow up with you should have told your wife, but you didn't want to get outta character.

Yeah, generally married couples are considered a single legal entity, but the exact law depends on the state. Like if I take $5000 from my wife's bank account, that’s not theft, it’s “our” money. Suing your spouse is kind of like suing yourself, which creates a strange case of law.
