Since 2K8, this series has gone the wrong direction. Wonder if it can come remotely close to The Show this year?

The 2k baseball series is not as good as The Show but far from bad. 2k sports games still have a level of presentation that others can't seem to match. If anyone doubts that then go play NBA2k12. If EA could do things like that for FIFA, it would really help that series.. This is just my opinion though.

The Show has been my favorite baseball game. Then again it is the only one I have owned and played. I am downloading this demo to see how it compares.

Not. Even. Close.

The game is just fundamentally bad. I'll download the demo, but I'll wind up getting The Show soon after its release. I've stopped buying most things on release. MLB 2k7 was the last 2K baseball game I've bought. I need EA to get back in the mix next year when the exclusives deal expires.

I seriously doubt it. The Show is the undisputed king imo.
