They have to be very careful with the slavery stuff. if they show any black person been beaten or killed i personal think that this game will get some serious heat.

Oh, I don't doubt that some people will be offended. But it'll be the fault of some overly-sensitive black people who would want to discourage the developers from creating a historically authentic (as far as slavery is concerned) video game.

I've just pre-ordered my copy of the sumptuous Assassin's Creed III: Freedom Edition

I couldn't be more stoked for this game, definitely looks like a step up from previous installments, though admittedly I absolutely loved Ezio's adventures so I wasn't ever suffering from brand fatigue like others have been.

It depends greatly on how they would portray it. Context matters. Look at the classic mini series Roots. It covered PLENTY of violence against slaves and even dismemberment (chopping off feet for running away) and the beating of Kunte Kinte (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) scene is downright famous but they were praised for being unflinching in their portrayal of such heinous acts.

Besides that, this series is a juggernaught. Even if this game DOES catch serious heat it won't effect it much other than to give it more press.

Boo mission DLC with preorders, but I hope gamestop in canada gets the DLC. All we got so far is the steelbook (all thats listed on site) lol

Great trailer, i wasn't very impressed by the first 2 AC games, the first one was quite unstable on the PS3, really looking forward to this one though.

After the disappointment that was Revelations (Couldn't finish the game) I was kind of weary with ACIII and was afraid I was suffering franchise fatigue. I wasn't at all hyped for Revelations...but this..this had me shaking with anticipation...it makes me want to try and finish Revelations

You weren't franchise fatigued.. you were ezio fatigued. I got bored near the end of brotherhood, and I had to force my way through Revelations. They were both decent games, but I was so sick and tired of playing as Ezio.

Brotherhood wasn't that great compared to the second one. I have yet to play, Revelations though so I can't say.
