I recently played a WW2 shooter and it was quite refreshing, every series has gone over to the modern setting, which is tiring.

Another good point. I haven't played a WW2 themed game in a while, maybe I'm not as tired of it as I used to be. Which one did you play?

Yeah true, but this isnt going to be till like the next 2 games come out because theyre getting closer and closer to modern day, but I doubt it will be anytime soon!

Ubisoft has lifted the lid on a Limited Edition version of Assassin’s Creed III for North America and Latin America.

Due for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 30, the $119.99 Limited Edition includes “essential items” for consumers to “ignite the American Revolution,” including:

• Assassin’s Creed III video game.
• Stunning 9.44″ Assassin statue featuring Connor poised to strike with tomahawk and hidden blade.
• Embroidered 28″x48″ Assassin’s Creed-inspired colonial flag.
• 3″x3.25″ sturdy metal belt buckle to proudly proclaim your allegiance to the Assassins.

The Limited Edition is available for pre-order today at GameStop, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart.
PC owners will get their own Digital Deluxe Edition. For $64.99, it includes:

• Assassin’s Creed III video game.
• George Washington’s notebook revealing his true story during the American Revolution.
• Three single-player missions taking players from the high seas to Cozumel Island in search of Captain Kidd’s fabled lost treasure.

I would have thought that would be top of their agenda to get that point across. The next trailer should have Connor killing an American higher up with some sort of Templar connection.

Sweet! I like how there are actual usable items in there (not that I don't like statues, I do and look forward to getting this one). I can use the belt buckle and I can fly the flag. It would be nice to get the extra missions and the Washington notebook as well, but this package isn't bad.

Oh gosh, I love the new combat and how its more free flowed and linked killing, and the new free-running system is excellent. The cover system they have I also like, gonna give the player some big advantages in certain parts of the game. They just absolutely out did pretty much every competitor and definitely stepped up from the previous AC!

Oh yeah, big and nice changes have been made, and yes like the tree climbing that has been incorporated, and the "Pass Through" thing how you run through the buildings, I find that a bit interesting, definitely gonna be a first day buy for me, although all AC games are! Lol
