My ex made me promise that I wouldn't start the game until she was here with me...and her work timetable means that I wont get to play it till a week after release lol. I don't mind though, AC was kind of "our game" when we were together so its cool. I'll just get Liberation instead.

Did you make that promise when you guys were together, if so, it isn't valid anymore, according to section 48 of the Breakup Etiquette manual.

Haha no, I made the promise last week. She was only ever good to me and I was kind of a bit fucked up when we were together so I don't mind honoring such requests.

Can't say I blame you there. It's definitely a game series I'd suggest doing in sequence. I've done all of them within the first few weeks of their release. Most of them I pre-ordered. Definitely one of the most entertaining game series of the this generation, I'd probably only put Uncharted ahead of it for a series which began this generation. The only one I didn't finish was the first one. I grew bored of it, and the game mechanics were a bit clunky in comparison. Though I did completed about 90% of the game. The others I completed the game, and all the side missions and I most of the trophies.

There are way too many editions. Anyone care to tell me which edition has all the extra game content (I don't care for any of the game's physical merchandise like extra making-of disc, ost, etc)?

Signature Edition seems to just be Gamestops standard edition, but I have no idea what it has except a little "Signature Edition" banner.

According to google the AC: Revelations Signature edition had "Signature Edition includes: Assassin's Creed Revelations, the original Assassin's Creed, A bonus single-player map - Vlad the Impaler's Prison, Weapon capacity upgrades for the crossbow (+5), pistol (+2), and bombs (+3), A multiplayer character - Ottoman Jester, and more!" so I'm rather curious if thats going to be similar to how AC3s Signature Edition will be.

Gameplay looks good and all but this video has me a little worried with Conners voice. He just sounded very monotone every time he talked had didn't seem to have any emotion and there were a few time where it looked like he was struggling while turning the wheel and there he still had a normal monotone voice, it just didn't fit with the action he was doing.

I was so freaking hyped for this game. I even planned to buy EVERYTHING AC3. So by that I mean every collector's edition that's available on this planet (there are few), the regular game, all statues and so forth. But what I'm going to do is buy the game when I'm ready to play it.

What holds me off from playing AC3? Devil May Cry 3! I'm about to finish it (playing the DMC HD collection - I missed a GREAT franchise! preparing for the reboot DMC that comes out in January) and then I'll play through DMC4. Then AC3. This could take me another 2-3 weeks. Lol it's funny how your favourite games can change... But I don't want anything else on my mind when I play AC3. I want to focus 100% on it. I'm sure many of you know this feeling back in your head "oh man I should finish game XYZ... oh and game ZYX... and game YXZ!". An experience like a NUMBERED Assassin's Creed title MUST get all your focus. Otherwise you can't breathe in all the beauty of the world the devs created. I'm sure the frontier alone will be worth exploring for hours and hours and hours...

I can see it already:
Hidden Gun = $1 or play for very long time to unlock it
etc...
I really hope I am wrong
