The game also got a 9/10 from IGN, they have a video review up as well.
I have seen quite a few perfect 10 score as well around the net.

I tested this game last july, it is a very addictive game im not suprised its getting 9/10

Wow another unique game experience that you only can find on a playstation system. day one buy for me. to bad that most of these "art" games didn´t sell well like ICO or Okami because they defenitly deserve good sales but the majority of peoples just prefere the mindless CoD and Battlefield games

Great looking game but only 2 hours? That's way too short to justify the purchase. I would much rather play a game, not a Metacritic rating.

Would you rather spend 60 dollars on a twelve hour adventure that reminds you of everything you have encountered before it, or a mere 15 on two hours experiencing one of the most unforgettable (wait for it), unbelievable (almost there), magnificent (closer...) JOURNEYS (aw yeaaaaaah) you've ever taken through a fictional world?

Why look at the length of the road, my friends, when you could marvel at the grains of sand which rest beneath your very feet?

Depends whether you want to look at it as dollar value per hour, or gaming experience over dollar price.

$60 over 12 hours is $5 per hour
$15 over 2 hours (I've read 1.5 hours elsewhere, but we'll go with 2) is $7.50 per hour

Is Journey worth the extra $2.50 per hour. Only you can answer that.

$15 is usually what you pay to watch a movie that may or may not last 2 hours, so it is a reasonable price for 2 hour game.

What you need to remember is that $60 is spent for endless hours of multilayer gaming. Let's face it, no one buys CoD of BF games for the campaign, so your analogy is off point.

Thats not a very accurate way of looking at it, first off if someone completed the the game in 1.5 hours then they really didnt play Journey, they might have completed it, but it would seem they missed the whole damn point of the game, personally I spent about 30 hours in total playing it and have yet to finish everything I want to, I know for sure that there is stuff I have missed.
