Ashton Kutcher is hardly a replacement for Sheen. I can't even watch the show now.

Ashton Kutcher wasn't even that good in That 70's Show. Charlie Sheen had his timing and delivery perfected. He was so funny in Two and a Half Men. Kutcher is not an acceptable replacement.
Thanks to Kwesnoth for the sig!

    Winning! Charlie Sheen!

Aldo, why the $#@! does every live action comedy sitcom have laugh track played every two damn seconds??? It's like they think we are too stupid to know a joke when we see one.

I haven't seen any episodes with Ashton, but I've seen a lot of episodes with Sheen. There's definitely a lot of funny jokes and the actors deliver them well. However, the reason Two & A Half Men gets flack is because it feels so scripted. On the other hand, shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Always Sunny In Philadelphia contain a ton of ad-lib dialogue. They just feel more organic.

If only more people had the ability to take themselves less seriously.

I'm hooked on Big Bang Theory lately. I miss Scrubs.

Dude watch Arrested Development, still the best comedy tv show I have ever seen.

And welcome back! We all miss the hey days of these forums back in 06/07 when hype was at a maximum and everything was going down from Trinity to Supaman don't we.

My dad LOVED this show, but it was always hit and miss with me. He still watches but not quite as keenly... of course cause of Kutcher.

It's not just organic, but more so relatable. Like my family or friends could be in that situation. Scripted can still work, but sometimes it's just too predictable.

    My favorite comedies:
    Psych
    Modern Family
    Community
Parks and Rec is growing on me so much lately...
    Big Bang Theory
    2 Broke Girls
    The New Girl

I watch others, but those mostly.

Sweet Jesus. Its like you're my polar opposite! And it has nothing to do with me not taking myself seriously. That kid is probably one of the worst child actors to hit television. The whole show is basically Charlie, drinking, talking about having sex with women and giving cringe-worthy one liners.

While it may be true, he was still funnier than Donna/Eric.

They both suck to me because they aren't good actors. The guy who plays Sheldon On Big Bang Theory is an example of a a good comedic actor. He annoying but yet funny as hell.

They both suck. The only reason I watch the show is because of Alan. Charlie had his moments but was too inconsistent, whilst ashton plain sucks.
