Street Fighter X Tekken......not too sure.

This game should be called Super Duper Street Fighter IV featuring Tekken. This has zero feeling of Tekken. I hope you guys decide to rent this one before buying. I am not very pleased with it.

I don't think it was supposed to have a tekken feeling though. Lots of hybrid games have been done before where the cameo cast won't have that original feel.

PS3 version has all the fighters the Vita version has. Just not sure if it is DLC or not.

Played it down my cousins house. It's just that the game feels like Smash Brothers to me. With the Gems and being able to do specials without earning them is just too casual for my taste. It's cool to play around for a little bit, but I wouldn't take this game seriously. I despise the Tekken engine with all of my heart, but I said I'd give it a try when Namco's version come out. Hopefully that one isn't over the top with shenanigans.

To the OP, it's suppose to have a SF feel to it. Tekken X SF will have the Tekken style. I'm not liking the way this one is looking either. The fighting game community seems to be hyping it up. I'm still playing UMvC3 and SSF4 AE, so this can definitely wait.

The TekkenXStreetfighter will be out soon with the game appearing to looking like a tekken game according to Quore. I am a fan of Tekken more than the cartoonish SF so I'll be waiting for that to drop. The video on Quore seemed to show it just being a SF game with the Tekken characters being there just to make up the numbers.

I'd be more interested in getting the Tekken vs Street Fighter title, I prefer the art style in the recent Street Fighter titles but I'm a Tekken fan at heart

To be honest I just want a new Tekken game that is better than Tekken 6.

I'm going to wait until the Ultimate Edition, or Super Collector's Edition or whatever they're going to call it comes out. I can't go down the same road I did with Street Fighter 4/Super Street Fighter 4/Arcade Edition Super Street Fighter 4. Playing 'Keep Up With Capcom's Paid Content That's Already On The Disc' is too much for my wallet.

In the article I presented in my previous post, they said that they didn't release pricing and timing yet. They shouldn't be DLC, they should be unlockable characters through "play to unlock". I'm just tired of the DLC crap that is going on this gen, its ridiculous

The Playstation Blog has already confirmed that the first DLC dated for March 13, will be free. Apparently IGN needs some better sources.

No, IGN got it right. Yeah, the first batch of DLC will be "Free". But after that, the content is already on the disc and that's a load of horseshit. I'm glad I waited and played my cousin's version since he got it early. I thought this game would be an undoubted beast. I'll stick to King of Fighters and CVS2. Yes please!

@ OP Yeah as has already been mentioned, there are two versions of this legendary match up. SFxT was to be done in SF style and TXSF was to be done in Tekken style. Both companies are not just pitting their characters against each other, but also their engines and mechanics. There is a rivalry between the 2 to see who can make the better game. SFxT was always going to have Tekken chars with their signature moves but in SF style and button inputs. TxSF will have the SF charsin the Tekken engine, with Tekken like inputs and the general feel of the series' mechanics.

@ the DLC issue..Yeah that's fucking scummy. I'm not buying their excuse about making it easier for people without the DLC toplay with those who have it. Spin it however you want,you got caught with your pants down. Won't be buying their version.

So far the content on the disc is free. Free on day 1, and free on day 7. Hell, it might all be free. Still does not make it a worthy purchase in my opinion though.

And I do not think IGN mentioned anything about the free DLC being released on day 1 or the following week.
