Ah, forgot to put "people mostly post", yours was actually one of the only ones with an OST that at least I haven't heard a lot of praise for.
That said, the thread would be better if it was called something like "Video Game Soundtracks that deserve more attention", as most of the time if a VGOST is good, it gets the praise but not necessarily the attention it deserves. Games like Nier are super-niche, but its OST still got plenty of praise, yet there are probably still a lot of people who would love the music but simply haven't heard of it. I have a hard time coming up with that many games where the music doesn't get any attention even if it's good or even great. Maybe something like Rayman Origins? People like to mention its graphics, but in my opinion the OST is as big of an achievement as the beautiful 2d graphics.
Also, I actually started a VG OST thread ~a year ago, but... there didn't really seem to be any interest in it so I didn't really continue updating it like I meant to.

Lair. Best OST in a videogame for a long time. Can't believe how much hate it got. For me, it was a fantastic game with fantastic controls.

Nier what a great soundtrack indeed.
Some other favourites of mine are Kingdom Hearts, the Katamari games, Devil May Cry 1-4, LittleBigPlanet, Demons Souls, Portal 2, FFVII and XIII and the Simpsons hit & run was really good too haha

underrated huh? for me it would have to be Heavenly Sword. I just loved that soundtrack and like someone earlier said, it definately helped pick up some of the slack that the games short length left behind. I would love to se a sequel to that game, so long as it doesnt take me 4 hours to beat it, and then another hour to beat the last boss.

I tend to always pay attention the the soundtrack as it adds an extreme amount and really makes the game what it is. I really like the Flower soundtrack but I think the best would have to be Tony Hawks Pro Skater. The first one. The theme song to Uncharted is stunning and the chase sequences in the AC series are usually pretty intense.

Wooo! many great soundtracks in here. Chrono trigger was a great example. It had me humming on a whole lot of songs long after playing...
Tons of old games had really catchy tunes like this for example.
