Guys I havent played my ps3 in about 2 years, mostly because im to busy being dad and my job.
I tried psp but it kind of sucks lol. With only one stick it was unplayable for me, but the vita feels damn close to a controller.
This vita is an awesome little console and I can play at work. Cant wait to see what quality titles come out.
Glad to be gaming again.

This is true for me too. I work nights, have a 5 year old (6 next month) and between she and my wife the tv and ps3 are always occupied. So getting the vita is also my window back into gaming. It's a fantastic console with real controls. The PSP with its one analog nub sucked for shooters. I'm looking forward to Unit 13 and many other titles soon to come. The vita will be my main console, at least till Little Big Planet Vita comes out, but then my daughter will be occupied with that so I can get my TV back.

Yeah the Vita is awesome. I'm really enjoying Uncharted and Wipeout and looking forward to Resistance coming out on it.

That's great chris. Welcome back to PlayStation gaming.
The Vita is indeed an amazing piece of tech and playing Uncharted makes me VERY excited for it's future. Having a console like experience in your hands is an awesome experience for me. When we get Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Killzone and Resistance, I will be a very happy chappy.

It's funny. I was just talking with F34R the other day and I was telling him how the PS Vita made me want to play games again. I have been at level 24 for an entire year now.

Same goes for me as well, granted that i'm not a dad or even close being one! i got busy with work and life that the last time i ever opened my PS3 was in November and even before that i haven't even touched the PS3 for more than 3-4 months!! when the vita came out it made me want to play the games i haven't finished and made me look forward to the upcoming games.
It also made me comeback here and join the discussion back again!

Vita means life. An apro pro name for this console that is breathing life back into gaming for a lot of people. There's so many games I want now and in the near future, Uncharted, Wipeout, Resistance, Unit 13, Call of Duty, Rayman and many many more. It's just more convenient and accessible for me than my main tv and ps3 is at this point in my life. Don't get me wrong, I still love my ps3, but it's mostly a netflix/ little big planet 2 player right now. I still get on Socom 4 online whenever I can, but working nights doesn't leave me with as mu h free time to get on as I would like.

Haven't put the vita down pretty much since I picked one up and me and my mate at work have been well impressed. Had some right enjoyable matches together on FIFA last night and there is something about it that just doesn't make you want to put it down (unless you begin to lose feeling in your hands)

For me it definitely has that '1 last go' about it pretty much no matter what game is in. It really is an addictive console and I love it. Sometimes I just browse the live area, go through trophies, look at friends online, the store etc without even playing a game because it's so accessible and easy to do so.
Also became a more active user on the forum in the vita section and added afew people off here because of it and had some good online bouts with them etc.
Can't wait for what the vita's future holds.

I just love to play with it - the whole "touch and feel" is awesome.
I like the buttons, like the sticks, like the OS / apps, like the touch controls etc.
Even minor things like browsing your trophies and checking your friendlist feels awesome on the VITA (like Gazza already mentioned)
I might have to get a second one because my GF keeps asking for the VITA when i play:
Her "I wanna play PvZ too!"
Me "Why don't you play it on the PS3?"
Her "VITA is cooler now gimme gimme!"

If Sony can get 2D Castlevanias to the PSVita (they were NDS exclusive in the past) it will be the best handheld ever.Last edited by Beast of Bourbon; 03-07-2012 at 10:06.

The mrs wants me to buy her 1 as well

Also since letting afew of the guys try it at work, 4 of them have gone and bought one.
1 actually gave a good point. He said he doesn't feel as anti social playing it at home. On PS3 he'd sit in his games room and wouldnt see/speak to his mrs (heaven?) so rarely used it all. Now he's got a vita he loves playing chilling on the sofa etc but still being able to 'answer her whining'
and have convo's etc

Yeah it really has that "wow let me check it out a sec" factor about it.
Maybe this was Sony's tactic all along.
Just sell a few million and let the VITA advertise itself when people see it in public
My "PS3 TV" is right next to the "regular" TV so my GF can watch her soaps while i play PS3.
Trust me it's worth it in the long run
Even if she wants to watch a BD movie i can still use the VITA to keep the trophies poppin'

As far as I can see its certainly working. Another 2 lads picked 1 up this morning on the way to work.
It's quite funny really because it's only been the last month or so I started to take an interest in the vita as i didn't really pay attention to start with. Now, I don't know how I'd cope without it

The best thing about the Vita much like the PSP is the sleep mode, play your game then blip off it goes and blip you're back in the action. Really helped when I put 60hrs in Disgaea 1. It's alot harder putting the same ours into Disgaea 2 on PS2.
