Ok, i have a little problem and i tried everything but i gave up
i hope you guys can help me...
when i download any PSN game/demo etc the download gets stuck
only with large files like 900mb/1GB and up
when it's downloading it gets stuck at 1150mb for example even if i cancel it and try to download it again
or even if i try to download something else , it gets stuck at the same place and the XMB goes crazy and
sluggish till i cancel that download, it freezes sometimes too, until i stop the download
i tried Everything but it didn't work, so Please help me

I need some help please
Try restarting your whole network (ps3 and router, plug it off for 15 seconds), this helped a few people.
Others had to backup their whole system - deactivate it (via account settings) - restore the system - reactivate the system.
The second procedure will most likely only be necessary if your filesystem is damaged and you might loose savefiles that can't be copied so i wouldn't recommend it.
Damn man... did you try to delete anything before downloading (like gamedata you don't need anymore etc.) maybe you can overwrite the defect sectors that way

It might have to due with the modem thats making it slow I'd reset it give it bout 5 mins turn it back on and see what happens

socom confrontation did this all the time with updates something that took 15mins turned into 5 days so i called my cable company and got on sonys site and opened ports and it worked

I did a "rebuild database" a few times and it fixed it
You should always do a system back up every month. Safer that way.20...
They have a network cable or wireless?
What have you changed on your router?
what connection speed they have?
You use a proxy?
