Man, what an AWESOME episode. So much happening in that 40 minutes. That ending. He's acting like a true leader. Giving the people a scapegoat, because they were just attacked, why not use Meryl and Daryl? That's fucked up, but this guy is so smart...and the white bandage over his eye makes him look like an evil version of Liam Neeson or Big Boss. Two months is way too much to wait. But I think Game of Thrones will keep me busy. This is my favourite season so far.

Also, I had a question for those that read the comics, or are up to date with the latest volume/issue....

Are there any other zombie types in the comics? Think Left 4 Dead or Dead Rising. Exploding acid zombies, overly mutatated zombies. Basically like Resident Evil..I know it's supposed to be a very realistic take, but surely there has to be different zombie types in the comics. I would sure love to see some different ones on the show.

Ricks group names 2 types of Walkers. Roamers which roam around to the nearest sound aka herd and there was another one i cant remember what its name was i believe it was Lurkers and that type just sit there and wait for you to come to them and attack like the one who got Hershel in the show. They find some special ones from time to time like one that wouldnt move or attack at all even though it wanted to. They didnt classify that one since it was just one odd duck out of the bunch. So the show has shown both types from the comic.

Governor and Merle planned that whole thing. Merle and Daryl "get away" and join up with Rick again so Merle could spy on the prison then report back to the Gov just like Martinez did in the comic book.

Not too sure about that. Right now I can imagine the Gov is mighty pissed off at Merle for lying about Michonne. The Gov already knows where the prison is, and if he believes Maggie, then he knows there aren't that many people to deal with either. I think he also sent out a scouting party last episode?

Thats why it may happen. Audience is not expecting that. I could be 100% wrong though its just speculation. Gov spoke to Merle and Martinez about scouting party but since Merle was still at Woodbury when it was attacked it made me think the scouting party never happened. I dont recall seeing Martinez during the attack that episode so there may be a scouting party.

I'm glad I watched the show before reading the comic. Now when I read the comic, my head I read whenever Rick speaks in his southern accent. Same with others

This year alone they aired all episodes twice. Doing a marathon on new years seems rather over kill at this point.
If I'm recalling it right they did one a few months before Season 3, and had it end with a black and white version of Season 1, Episode 1. Then the weekend of Season 3 they aired a marathon that ended when Season 3 finally started.

Going to watch season 1 again and try and get up to date on this series. I think i watched 4 out of the 6 episodes of the first season so might as well watch it all again.

I watch it the first time to enjoy it. Second time to find details i missed. Third time just for the hell of it and come up with scenarios in my head on how the next episode will be.
