I have never seen this TV show before but I have had a few mates tell me to give it a watch so today I went out and bought the first season on DVD. Have to say I am pretty keen to start watching it tonight

Was able to get my back issues caught up to the most recent release, gonna save the read for a 10 hour flight I got next week. May just start from the beginning again but looking forward to see what happens after the events of the prison to now.

Biggest shock was Glenn getting taken out the way he did and when he did. He was so close to getting "out" so to speak with the possibility of being in a safer surrounding and having a child. Louisville slugger was not his friend...

The Tv Series are interesting. Was looking for such a zombie project and so there is one! Im currently stuck on sesson 2 i think.
If to talk about the game, personaly havent played, but was watching a Youtuber play it. I'd give it a 8.5 / 10

Any of you guys heard of the podcast "were alive"? A very good zombie survival story with lots of different monsters and mysteries. I wish they'd turn that into a show.

Thats the unspoken rule of horror, action, thrillers, and whatever. But having it so blatant on this show is annoying.

Mostly because she is nothing like comic book Andrea and she does stupid shit in the show. Let me put it this way. In the show Andrea is the character i hate the most and in the comic book she is one of my favorites. I really hope she is just killed off in the show and show Maggie can become comic book Andrea.
Try reading the comic its a completely different experience. The only thing it will spoil is possible future locations and characters.

She walks in after the gov and michonne have fought. She's mad at michonne of all people, see the severed heads in fish tanks, the gov stabbed in the eye cradling his undead daughter who he locked in the closet. And she's just like 'umm....what's going on gov? Oh my goodness you're hurt! Must comfort you and ignore the undead daughter the severed heads!' She's a moron and I hate this blind faith she has in the gov.

I got The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2 on DVD for Christmas, and I absolutely love the show to bits. I previously watched Season 1 on Channel 5 in the U.K., although I hadn't seen Season 2 until I watched it over the holidays.

Rick is probably my favorite character; well-acted and goes through some interesting character development from what i've seen, although the supporting cast are superb too. Shane's development was surprising to me, and I was quite shocked at some of the deaths so far.

As for Andrea and all the hate for her, she irritates me at times but I don't dislike her at all. Amy's death obviously screwed her up and it's no wonder she had doubts about wanting to live, so who knows what she has been going through. I think she was harsh on Dale though, as he only cared for her and didn't want her to waste her life by attempting to commit suicide at CDC.

Still, I have enjoyed watching her character develop, I hope Season 3 toughens her up a bit and we see her as a more capable, confident combatant.

Anyway, can't wait for Season 3 on DVD.

Andrea I can tolerate, it's Rick's wife who I couldn't. I was glad she was killed off. The kid is cool now, but I didn't like him in the first and 1st half of season 2.

Maggie is in my top 3 favorite characters on the show. If Andrea, Lori, and Michonne were like their comic versions i would like them too.

Carrol is bad in both versions but in different ways.

Carl is very hard to compare because in the comic he is basically a total dick but he is so brave/crazy and he gets shit done to the point where he is likable and awesome. Show Carl feels more human and started out rather weak in comparison. To me it seemed the writers didnt know what to do with him in season 2. Season 3 Carl is currently on the right track. So if show Carl keeps on becoming more awesome and brave without being a crazy asshole i will consider show Carl to be better.

Comic Rick came off as annoying to me and since i read the entire comic so far in 2 weeks i got in a full dose. I know its a comic book and needs to explain things a certain way but Rick changing his mind on what to do as the leader and verbally speaking it every time an event happens in the comic was rather annoying imo.
