The PS3 has given me more than enough entertainment, there's so many games that I haven't had a need to buy a second console this gen.

PS3 only does everything right? I think the PS3 is great how open it is.
The PS3 easily has some of the most original exclusives of any generation.Last edited by mickice; 03-15-2012 at 16:30.

That has how it's been for me...though more than just one or two. 3 to 4 good consistent ones. The Xbox has given me more original exclusives that I have enjoyed personally. Though, I could not stand being a gamer and not having GT, Uncharted and SOCOM. Now I am waiting for the Cage follow up to Heavy Rain. It will be fantastic for sure.

I enjoy both. They each have certain things that I like about them.

Everyone gets something different from the experience I guess. I just have to say that in the realm of gaming consoles, they are and always have been just that. Gaming consoles. I don't need a tough or easy "sell". I never had, and most people in here never really did either. It's a game system, and a media center. That's pretty much it. What else do I want it to do for the money? The current consoles are the best ones ever produced I think. And I'm old enough to remember the first ones. In other words, nobody will ever need to "Talk me into buying one" as I know exactly what I'll be getting and so most others on these forums. And if I had to pay $60 a year to have the full online funtionality, I would pay it gladly. We get "screwed" over by our phone, internet and cable carriers, with ridiculous fees and rates and we still pay for them right? In fact, my game console is and has always been just about the only thing I paid for and felt that I got all of my moneys worth! It plays Blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs, streams music, accesses the internet, let's me send messages and plays games, what else can I ask for?!
