I've heard that disk-swapping can get annoying. Other then that I will believe that the Xbox 360 version is better since the frame rate drops in the PS3 version are very obvious. I also noticed some tearing during a scene or two. As for glitches, there was one where Shepard was looking at someone else during the entire conversation with Liara. It was hilarious.

I rented both before deciding which to buy. My experience was 360 had better textures and better framerate while PS3 had no disc swaps and no mandatory install.

if I am in the PS3 or 360 section I will NOT post about the competitor just to please people, if you want to know what I think about the competitor link me to a thread in the appropriate section

With such a sloppy framerate why didn't they just give the PS3 version a 1GB install to help it?

Good question, I was really surprised they decided not to include an install option for the ps3 when it clearly needs it more then the 360.

They should have dropped v-sync in the scenes that requir more juice, rather have tearing than dropped frames

Ima have to play it on the PS3 to see if the performance justifies disc swapping.

The PS3 framerate gets pretty bad sometimes especially during big firefights.

Yeah, but does that negate the advantages of no disc swapping?

IMO The 360 version playing much smoother does indeed negate the advantages of no disc swapping. The framerate issues in the PS3 version takes away from the combat when it does crop up. I think the PS3 version would have greatly benefited from a mandatory install.

Gotcha. No reason for me to even try the PS3 version then. Thanks.

I gues if the PC version had controller support it would be a no brainer?

Thats a given for any game I would think. PC is always going to beat out consoles in graphics and performance.

I still need to play the second one.

PS3 version looks slightly washed out. Not the textures, the game looks identical, just that it looks darker on the 360.
