Darksiders Is Fantastic!

So I just now got around to finishing Darksiders and boy, was I missing out!

The game successfully incorporates great gameplay, fast pacing and an intriguing story that keep you coming back for more. Can't wait for the sequel now as I want to know how the story continues.

Everyone should give it a try! Highly recommended!

The one thing that sucked hard was the Black Tower. Other than that, no complaints here.

You'll be waiting for Darksiders 3 then lol. 2 is set during the events of the first. it's a badass game, that's for sure.

So much criticism for being a Zelda copycat, but man did I enjoy the game. One of the best games I've played in a long time! Been enjoying a lot of action games lately. Does anyone else wish for a Vita Darksiders? Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is the perfect example of a port done well for a portable. So enjoyable and tight, much like Darksiders on the PS3. One can dream, right?

Exactly why I am in no rush to beat the first, and have no real interest in 2.. lol

Darksiders seems like another underrated game tbh, I remember reading a lot of poor reviews before I bought it although I ended up getting it for PS3 and Xbox lulz, i found the demo was that awesome.

Darksiders 2 is going to be awesome, hopefully they will make references to the first game as to what War is doing whilst your kicking some ass too.

Yep. So underrated. Even after playing it, I still don't give Darksiders the credit it deserves. It was one of those "eh" games that I decided to buy on impulse, and although I didn't give it much attention at first, once I dove in, I couldn't stop playing. A fantastic game; can't wait for the next.

Yep, the game is great, shame many skipped it for some reason.

Indeed it is an awesome game! I really enjoyed the game. It blends some great aspects from games like Zelda and GOW and makes for an almost perfect combination. Really sweet game.

In my opinion, Darksiders was the sleeper hit of 2011. It had the unfortunate circumstance of releasing amongst other titles in the same genre that had received hype for various reasons...
-GoW3 (nuff said)
-Dante's Inferno (GoW on xbox)
-Bayonetta (scantily clad chick)

Those three titles generated so much hype that it kinda left Darksiders in the back seat. And of the 4 of them, I enjoyed Darksiders the most.

Does darksiders have more playtime than say GOW3. Because darksiders world is supposed to be more open.

Speaking of Dantes Inferno, that was another great game. Just because it was a hack n slash it got coined as a GOW clone and that really wasn't fair. It was a great game in it's own right.

Shit yeah it's an awesome game! Can't say I had any real complaints about it to be honest, I didn't even really find the Black Tower all too difficult or annoying.
