But if you can show me an epic RPG or sandbox exclusive to the PlayStation Vita (not just ported titles from its console counterpart), I'll consider picking one up.
I don't think it's a matter of available games but of seeing an adult in public playing video games on a handheld.

I'm an avid gamer and have been for a very, very long time, but I just see no reason to take my hobby portable. When I'm outside the home I have too many other things to keep me busy and don't need video games to keep me occupied.

It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it, but I see handhelds as things for kids to play in the back seat on trips, on the school bus or waiting in the airport with mom and dad.

I don't care who a handheld is marketed to, they are designed for kids. The price of these things isn't that much that kids don't get them as gifts or save up for them cutting grass for neighbors.

If you have ever talked to clerks at Best Buy or Gamestop, you'll learn who a vast majority of these things are sold to. The age generally starts with a 1. Sure there are exceptions, but this is mainly a kids thing.

Sure they will, that really doesn't change anything in my post though. Like I said, there are exceptions to everything.

I wasn't replying to your post, which was anecdotal at best anyways.

It was more opinion than anything. But that's what these forums are for.
