Anyone still play Nintendo 64?
Let's take a few moments to give appreciation for this beautiful piece of machinery.
Time to go play some Diddy Kong Racing.

Yo how come games aren't coming out anymore? Is it because Call of Duty won't work on the controller?

Lol. How funny. I just found a retro store and bought one of these bad boys yesterday! My wife wanted Castlevania 64 and I got Tetrisphere. Next on the list, Goldeneye 64 and WCW/NWO Revenge!

I still have it, but don't play it. I was always a 'playstation kid', but 4+ summers in a row were spent playing games such as Mario kart 64, Super smash brothers, Goldeneyes/Perfect Dark, Starfox 64 etc 4 player with my cousins
Huge part of my childhood summers, loved every second of it

Never understood the random placing of the analogue stick and there were way too many buttons on the front..4 is the right amount.
Gamecube was worse actually with that weird yellow button that couldn't decide if it wanted to be a button or and analogue stick...cluttered.Trophy-licious!

Fucking awesome thread! OP, are we somehow related cause we pretty much like the same things.
I have most of the legendary games on the N64, and believe me, they took a while to find. I have Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time, THPS2, Doom64 (though you seriously need to turn the gamma rating up to max cause you can't see shit!), Mortal Kombat Trilogy (best MK game ever IMO), Shadows of the Empire (by far my favorite Star Wars game of ALL TIME..I even have the book for it by Steve Perry, the 300page production book of how it all started and this includes sketches for the game, the comic books and talks about it being a movie that never was...and finally the graphic novel for the story which is solely from Boba Fett's point of view. It's really amazing. I'm writing a treatment for it in hopes of one day making it to the big screen)
Games I'm still missing for N64:
THPS1
Majora's Mask
Super Smash Bros
Star Fox 64
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Turok 1
Turok 2
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2
F-Zero X
Mega Man 64 (this is the first time MegaMan went 3D)
Nightmare Creatures
Gauntlet Legends (epic co-op fun!)
The World is Not Enough (this also had fun mulitplayer)
Perfect Dark
Hey You Pikachu (just want this for the fuck of it even though the microphone you get for it is extremely unresponsive)
Vigilante 8 (twisted metal rip-off, but still fun)
Battletanx (the co-op was so fun!)
Army Men 1 and 2
Extreme-G (I just realized I had the purple bike..can't believe I got rid of that...wtf is wrong with me)
Conkers Bad Fur Day (now here's a classic..and apparently someone told me the reason it's so rare to find it on the street is because Rareware or Nintendo ordered all the copies that were on shelves to be destroyed..yeah, great movie guys..destroy one of the greatest games on the N64..fucking derps)
Banjo Kazooie 1 and 2
bolded games are the ones I really want
guess I have some shopping to do!
Btw, I also have Mortal Kombat 4, the first Midway MK title that ventured into 3D..I'd say it went downhill after Deadly Alliance, but the customization options in MK Armageddon were a nice touch. Anyway, MK4 was super addicting and I first played it in the arcade...as soon as I noticed I could use weapons, I needed this game..
Just needs a firmware update

What kind of games you like to play?
Not sure if you have it or heard of it, but Blast Corps. was one of my favorite games of the 64. You're various tractors/vehicles/robots and you must complete missions. Most of them are to destroy all buildings, but there's also races and escort missions, and even a pac-man stage. If I recall, it's only single player
