I wouldn't have a problem dropping 30 for this game if there were more than one fucking weapon. Why in the hell would they keep those out if they aren't being some greedy dlc bitches? "You get 2 weapons for free, everything else you gotta pay for" gtfoh.

I think its interesting. Ninja Gaiden 3 will have some interesting implications. If you notice the reviewers they either love it or hate it.
IGN gave is a 30%. CVG gave it a 80% and XBox Magazine gave it an 80%.
So according to this http://www.rankjunkie.com/games/xbox360/ninja-gaiden-3 it makes it a 63.33%
For PS3, Metro gave it another 80% http://www.rankjunkie.com/games/ps3/ninja-gaiden-3 but amusingly the average is still the same.
What does this tells us. Some people will love this game and others will think its total crap.

I don't care about IGN's reviews or any reviews for that matter. Especially after they gave Silent Hill: Downpour a terrible review. They don't know what a good game is unless it's got guns in it.
That said, Ninja Gaiden 3 looks like it could have been a lot better. I'll play it for the core gameplay though that looks like it's the same old fun that every Ninja Gaiden game has to offer.

Not played NG3 yet but I don't see how having one weapon can ruin the game. NG had too many weapons imo to keep up with. They were cool, but not terribly needed.
And they wanna talk about how it's too easy. Maybe it is kinda easy, but so was the 2nd game because you could forward aerial slash everything in the game and win until the last level.
Wait until I get my hands on it, then we'll see what's up.

I was playing last night and I seen arms being cut off. Hell, I even cut a guy in half from the top of his head down to his pecker.
IGN is a joke of a site anyways. I can not stand their game reviews.
I would honestly rate this game about a 7/10. The game looks good, and it is just a fun hack n slash game.
IGN gave Splatterhouse a higher score lol.

My main concern is the focus on the technical detail of the fighting. Fighting encounters for the first two games are very meticulous and highly skilled. It's kind of like Demon's Souls but faster. Each action is a decision, but now the review makes the game seems like a glorified mindless hack and slash.

the fighting does seem to be dumbd down(I'm not that far into the game yet first impression) but, that might be due to the fact that it can also be played with the ps move(haven't tried it yet).It does seem a little easier and you only get a sword who cares you're a ninga you only need a sword.
I am not a die hard ninga gaiden gamer. I do realise what they were trying to do with this game(some good much bad) with that said. Right now I would give this game a 7 out of 10 for the fun factor.Like I said earlier I have'nt tried out the psmove features yet so that score might change.. So far it's a fun game

It is easy to say that Ninja Gaiden 3 is the worst in the series. However, this does not make the game bad.
The story is dog shit but the actual game play is pretty fun. I love hacking shit left and right and summoning huge ass fire dragons. The game does get difficult when you have to fight bosses.
The game also spits out trophies left and right. I seriously got like 5 trophies in my first 10 mins of playing. Laughable trophies really. I believe I got one for sliding, climbing a wall, doing an air attack, and summoning the dragon.
This is a good rental game that you will enjoy for a night or 2. And that is all you will need to complete this game.

One weapon?! Seriously? I think IGN may be on to something. I'm no fan of their reviews, but it looks like they really dropped the ball on this one.
