They better update the PSVita soon, I'm sick and tired of resetting ever 2-3 days!! it's not funny anymore.
This happens randomly, sometimes when i'm playing and sometimes all by itself when i leave in sleep mode! And i'm sure i'm not the only one that had this issue.
EDIT:I've gone and changed the title so everyone who have an issue related to software can list it here. Just to get a general Idea of how's everyone vita.

That's pretty shitty. There will be some sort of update in April (rumor), so hopefully it addresses this issue. Haven't had that problem myself though

I know some people who have had this problem many times before. I'm not saying it happens to everyone.
I hope the next firmware update will fix that.Case: HAF-X Motherboard: Asus CHV CPU: FX8320@4.4GHz GPU: Asus DCUII 7950 RAM:Mushkin redline @ 2133MHz HDD: Crucial M4 256

So when you're playing it just resets itself? Try and get it replaced tbh, it could just as easily be a hardware issue, as a firmware issue

I have never seen that happen before. But then again, I do shut my Vita off every night when I go to sleep.

Damn man. I dunno - it sounds messed up. Depending on how often it happens I would seriously try and get a replacement somehow.
My or my 2 brother's Vita's haven't hung since we've got them, and the one I got replaced (that had a dodgy left shoulder button) never hung either. It seems even more worrying how it does it when in sleep mode too, because honestly, one of the best things about the Vita is putting it in sleep and coming back 24hrs~ later with it exactly where you left with what seems like the exact same battery life you put it to sleep in
I don't mean to scare you lol, but yeah it seems like a hardware issue of sorts. The crashes and problems that were overblown during the Japanese launch were apparently to do with the near app, it was buggy or something, so I'm not entirely sure that a lot of people are experiencing the same problems as you
Edit: Actually, I lie. I do remember having to hold down the power button to hard reset my first Vita a day after I got it. I don't remember why it happened though

IMO, the PSVita needs a better software, the way it is right now makes it feel like it has been rushed to the market. The hardware is there, the optimization is not.

Mine hasnt hung yet or reset or glitched, lol. The only error I get is when trying to play The Imposible Game mini.

I've had only a single sleep mode crash so far, that was a couple weeks back and I had to hold the power button down for a good 30 seconds before the Vita started working again. My other glitch was not being able to play online till I rest the Vita settings. Other than that though I've yet to turn the Vita off since I purchased it at release. Love the thing but for what's given at release, it has very few glitches compared to most other hardware on the market.

I changed the title.
I had the Bluetooth problem as well when i got my vita, It just kept on coming every time i start mine! Rebuilding the database made it go away for good though. I had to loose everything that was on there including hours of dynasty Warriors and Uncharted save!!Case: HAF-X Motherboard: Asus CHV CPU: FX8320@4.4GHz GPU: Asus DCUII 7950 RAM:Mushkin redline @ 2133MHz HDD: Crucial M4 256

when mine goes into sleep mode from pausing a game or hitting the ps button (this happened alot during the first week of release), the system hibernates and cant wake. the ps button keeps blinking, the only way to reset the system or turn it off is to let the battery run out....holding the power button will not do anything!
edit: also have the bluetooth problem (3G/Wifi model)Last edited by YoungMullah88; 03-21-2012 at 19:37.

April is not far ahead now. Lets just hope they fix things, and not introduce more useless features like they did with the PS3!!

Yeah, there have been a lot of posts on the official forums, as well as other forums, of features that randomly stop working, error codes popping up randomly, screen issues, lazy left analog problems (where it appears stuck in one direction), notification problems, sleep mode problems, game database problems. I've replied in threads on every issue I've listed.
