It's their own fault. Charging £45 for new releases on the shelves when the same game is available online £5-£10 cheaper with free delivery is nothing short of retarded. I stopped using Game when they done away with the bargain bins. even their pre owned games were the same as a new game!!!?? fuck em as a COMPANY.

I wonder what will happen if they do go under and can't offer people money for reward points/gift cards etc. Is there something in place that compensates people or is it tough luck?

Man. Thank fuck their website came back online - I was super busy all last week but was meaning to spend the £18 on my GAME reward card on just preowned garbage with easy trophies (lul), but then my local closed and the site went down and ShopTo offered to buy the card for £3. Naturally, I was raging. But yeah, glad that the use of reward system is coming back soon

Hahah crazy such different stigma to my stores in the Sydney area. Sure prices aren't the lowest but people love coming in and having a chat if anything ><

But yeah, even though my job under Game AU wasn't really in jeopardy, it's reassuring to see this

I do agree Game (uk for the most part) have made some very poor decisions.

Hopefully now they can start being more competitive

I'm glad more people won't be losing their jobs, I was pretty sad on the weekend when I saw my local Game had actually closed down :/ I didn't see if the Gamestation store was still open though.
