[In Progress (For realz this time)] Suggestion: Update section stickies

This is just a suggestion, but stickies need to be updated in a lot of sections of this forum. An example would be the "Which game should I buy" thread in the PS3 Games section. The poll in that thread needs to be updated at the least.

Actually, (if I'm not wrong), that thread started as a question asked by a member as to which he games he should buy at THAT point of time. But gradually, it turned into a thread used for general discussions about selecting games to buy.

Instead of updating it, the poll needs to be shut down.

I actually agree, because members just recommend the games others should buy. There is no need for a poll anymore.

We did a little bit of this awhile ago with things like the PSU Beginner's Guide. But yes, I agree, more needs to be done.

I don't know what Vintage did but I went through all of the sections and unstickied a couple threads - one of which was already locked and a fundraiser created last year that more than reached its goal. As for broken links that need to be fixed, it would help if you were more specific.

OK, I removed all the outdated or inactive stickies. I also merged the RPGs forum back into PS3 Games, since it wasn't getting enough activity.

The Shop forum certainly isn't active, but I want to wait until the shop is fixed before we decide to do anything there, since we might emphasize it again.

The E3 section will be merged soon, but let's leave that a little longer in case anyone wants to catch up on E3.

However, I didn't look too intensely at each sticky's OP to see which ones needed to be changed or updated. I can do that later, unless one of you guys wants to let us know what needs to be changed.
