They are still making new games for the PS2. Major League Baseball 2K12 was just released for the PS2 as well.

It's easy to see why the PSP is outselling the PS Vita. The Vita doesn't even have a game in the top 20.

Yep, at this point you could say the PSP is much of a threat to PSV as 3DS is lol. But they'll be making some niiiiiiiice dollar on the PSP hardware/software so they won't be too pissed. It's very similar to the slow transition that occured when the PS3 was released

Yeah, that's true, Sony is still making a profit off of the PSP. However, I am concerned. People are still buying PS2s, Sony could be taking the efforts for the PSP and applying them to the PS Vita, you know? But it's a business and profits are everything. So as long as the PS2 and PSP still sell, Sony will keep making em.

People are still buying PS2s, Sony could be taking the efforts for the PSP and applying them to the PS Vita, you know? But it's a business and profits are everything. So as long as the PS2 and PSP still sell, Sony will keep making em.

Sony doesn't really put any of their efforts into the PSP though. It's third parties that are still supporting the machine, a machine that has a very big install base in Japan. What Sony needs to do is make sure that these developers jump to Vita instead of 3DS, when they start plotting their next games

Evidence so far suggests that when 3rd parties are finished with PSP games, they're moving onto 3DS games. That's something to be concerned about, like, majorly
