Am I lucky?

So I ordered Assassin's Creed Revelations and it just arrived. Is it true that the edition that comes with the original and first Assassin's Creed game is no longer being made? I read that it was only available to people who preordered Revelations.

I didn't pre order Revelations, but I think my Revelations has the first Assassin's Creed on it. It says something about it on the cover.

I think I just got really lucky.

No I'm pretty sure they were including with the game for the first month or so, but yeah you got lucky to get some older stock. Is it actually on the disc or a code for the downloadable version?

Say what? As far as I am aware, every PS3 Revelations disc includes the original AC on it.

Shame that they could not patch in trophies (that is why I got that game for 360)

The PS3 version of Revelations comes with Assassin's Creed 1 as standard on the Blu-ray disc.

After you play AC-II, AC-Bro, AC-Rev then AC becomes a very painful thing to play IMHO. If you want to play AC and even come close to enjoying it, play it first. I'd forget about the flags and templars and just play the story through. The controls along with the monotonous tasks is what make AC so painful. They've improved on those area's tremendously going to AC-II and even better in AC-Bro and Rev (though Rev tosses in this stupid mini-game that's annoying and useless IMHO.)
