Netflix sucks for streaming. Takes too long for anything new to come to it. I think you should look elsewhere.

I might be getting Netflix in a couple months. It's basically like a personal rental center. Anything released you can watch basically. Hulu Plus is mainly for TV, does have some movies but Netflix is ace in that department.
The way I see it, watch something and see if you like it. If you do, then you can go out and buy it. Otherwise it's an easy way to see something once and move on.

I still have it mainly because I don't currently have cable or satellite tv. I get to watch some decent shows and movies, and also have stuff for my kids to watch. Its pretty cheap, but it does need to step up the movie selection.
I also have blockbuster total access disc by mail service, but am about to cancel it because then closed both stores near me. Going to go back to netflix for that as well.

If you're looking for the latest movies, it's not.but it's got a huge catalog of tv shows and movies. Not sure where you're from, but I think others in Europe have said that theres a much smaller selection there than in America, so if you are over there, it may not be so great.

These are pretty much the same reasons I still use Netflix. Eight dollars a month and you get some decent, if not good, television shows and movies to watch. My only complaint is that the streaming service could use a larger library of titles but, for most the part, I think it's worth it for the amount you're putting down.
I can't comment on Hulu Plus since I have yet to even use it.Last edited by Blacksite; 04-02-2012 at 21:36.

I don't understand why you'd want to pay to stream for movies and t.v shows when you can watch them online for free?
Please do not advertise other websites. ~Blacksite
if you look at the rating before you watch something and its between 3-5 then its most likely to work.
You can stream all sorts of various movies and t.v shows.
Ain't so sure about the quality, i clicked on cabin in the woods and the movie was playing but the quality wasn't the best out there (it was cam)
nevertheless you can check it out for yourself s

I like Netflix. Nice selection and it works on all consoles and most mobile devices including smartphones and portable gaming hardware.
I do prefer my subscription to Amazon Prime which gives me streaming for thousands of films, and the service just came to PS3. Plus I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon so I get discounts and free two-day shipping.

I think netflix is pretty good, for the price I can watch whatever they have on either my PC, iPad or 360. Good selection too, got to experience the awesomeness of Breaking Bad...

I got the 30 day trial a couple weeks ago. Found it very disappointing. Nothing but shows and old movies that i don't want to watch. Anime selection is pretty terrible and any classic movies i wanted to watch weren't on there. Can't say it's worth it until they beef up their selection.

I rather pay for legal stuff and not risk massive trouble. But it's simply a matter of not enough money to get things or try things (IMO).

I'd also like to watch movies that don't look like they were recorded with cell phones. Just because it's free doesn't always mean it's better.
