E3 2012 Predictions

Microsoft to extend their contract with Activision for another year or two for timed exclusive DLC for Call of Duty.

My predictions:

- Wii U at $249, launching on fall
- Many multiplat games including Call of Duty go to the Wii U
- New 3DS model
- Slimmer ps3 model revealed and a price drop to $199
- MS and Sony hint their next gen consoles, but nothing concrete given
- A ridiculous amount of Kinect games shown
- MS shows xbox integration with Windows 8
- MS announces some new apps for xbox live
- SE reveals some big franchise, possibly KH, on the Vita
- Sony shows many first party titles on the Vita
- Some kind of Gran Turismo announcement (wishful thinking)
- Release dates for Last Guardian and FF Versus
- Versus goes multiplat

I'm over this Gen, i'll just stick with allllll the games i've got to last me till next.

Just give me some Next Gen info!
So i can start planning/collecting info etc.

This Gen has been good (to a point, minus the Day 1 patches ffs..etc), but it's time to move on.
Otherwise i'm seriously thinking of getting a Pc..
and play ARMA II, LOL.

To those hoping to see some Bioshock Vita stuff... fyi when it was announced last year it was announced that they are going to be working on some kind of Bioshock game for the Vita. I don't even think development has even started

Consoles:

-Wii U will be dated, and priced at $250-$300

-I believe Sony and Microsoft both are lying to us and some info about PS4/720 will be there in some capacity, rather it's a reveal or we get leaked info from a behind the scenes source that they were secretly previewed.


Games:
I'm a sony guy so most of my list is based on my predictions for them.

-3 inevitable exclusives publicly revealed(God of War Next, Syphon Filter, and The Sony fight game mashup)

-Probably another 2 exclusives we weren't expecting(Hopeful for guerrilla's next project and something more on Quantic's next game. What has London Studio and Ready at Dawn been up to since their last releases?)

-Developer's talking about how awesome of an handheld Vita is

-Boatloads of new PSVita games

-All incoming big name Vita games will show off some footage - GTA,Bioshock,COD,Killzone,Assassin's Creed,Madden

-New Vita Firmware that gives us features like Skype, and an up to date net browser

-New ways Vita and PS3 will communicate

-More exclusive games but built specifically for the PS Move

-New Updates for Dust 514 heavily shown off(It should be publicly available by then I think)

-The next Battlefield game will be shown off during Sony's presser(seeing how EA n Sony have been cuddy buddies last 2 years)

-Media Molecule's Next project revealed

-LBP Karting gameplay preview

-FFvsXIII mini clip

-An amazing gameplay footage video of The Last of Us

-Last Guardian clip and a release date announced

-GTA V details price,date range, etc. another video(hopefully in-game footage, like a whole epic mission to see)

-Borderlands 2 info mini blowout

-Another epic preview of Bioshock Infinite

-EA will show off NBA Live 13 and how it's been doing since they took a year off

-Rainbow 6 Patriots gameplay footage

Tomb Raider Preview

-Sucker punch next title reveal

-Announcement of psn release of Either Socom Legacy(Multiplayer only with all the best maps from ps2 Socoms) or HD release of Socom 1 or 2 (Full game) I believe they have a studio working on it, Socom HD has been number 3 on blogshare for awhile now.

-More PS2 Classics on the way for psn

-PS1, more PSP, and some already available rerelease HD games Vita compatible

-Tony Hawk Classic HD gameplay footage blow out

-Assassan's Creed Mission showing setting, and new features

-COD Next reveal and footage to go with

-EA will reveal currently unannounced sequels,reboots, and maybe a new Ip or 2

-Medal of Honor:Warfighter

-Rocksteady will announce what they're currently working on(besides Arkham City DLC)

-Bioware will reveal next Dragon Age

-The guys who left the COD team, Respawn games I think they're called will finally show off their game

My Wishful thinking list:

-ReAnnouncement of Eight Days

-Freedom Fighters 2 Announcement

-Star Wars Battlefront 3

-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Game aimed at the people who grew up with them( 4-player co-op)

-An actual Tech demo of some PS4 games that blows us away

-X-Men Legends 3

-X-Men Legends 1 & 2 HD

-Socom HD Collection

-A Rockstar Games HD Collection including (Bully,The Warriors, GTA 3,Vice City, San Andreas)

-Kingdom Under Fire 2 PS3 N.A Gameplay footage(I know it's probably already coming but I don't think it will be at E3)

-NBA2K13( I think they're going to skip out on revealing anything @ E3 they just want to see what EA(NBALive13) has did to compete so they'll hold off... It's what I would do if I was the current king lol)

-A really good DBZ game

-Sony makes the PSN Video Store where you can still regularly buy movies the current way, but they announce that it's also going to make it a streaming service like Netflix where you can pay a monthly fee and watch the all an any of psn's vast collection. (I would be very happy, Netflix doesn't have many movies I care about)

Whatever happens this year's E3 will be very exciting

Syphonfilter 4 and versus 13 info is all i want and of course a ff7 remake announcement, which will happen. I'll ignore the hype train in all honesty, last year was a downer.

Knowing how much Square Enix loves to make announcements though, we'll probably hear one for Final Fantasy XV, which would go well with a PlayStation 4 announcement. The reason I don't think we'll hear one for Kingdom Hearts III is because Tetsuya Nomura and his team still need to wrap up development on Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

I'm looking forward to some news about a Civilizations 5 add-on or Civilizations 6. More info concerning Sim City 5 is gonna really get me excited. Other than these things and something new regarding the Mass Effect universe, I'm neither expecting anything or hoping for anything ground breaking. I have a feeling this E3 is gonna disappoint... big time.
