E3 2012 is only two months away, it is June 5-7. It may seem like it is far away, but time will fly by.

What do you predict will happen at E3 console wise and game wise?

Here are my predictions.

1.The Wii-U will be priced at no more than $300
2. Microsoft, despite denying it, will confirm and announce the next Xbox.
3. Sony will confirm and announce the next PlayStation
4. The Nintendo 3DS will get a remodel with two analog sticks and new colors
5. More information will be provided for the 3G/Wifi PS Vita abilities.

1. A new Donkey Kong will come to the 3DS.
2. Final Fantasy Versus XIII gets a release date
3. The Last Guardian gets a release date
4. Sly Cooper 4 gets a release date
5. Kingdom Hearts 3 is previewed, will stay PlayStation exclusive
6. Insomniac shows off it's first multi plat game
7. GTAV is previewed
8. New Zelda is previewed for the 3DS
9. Halo 4 gets a release date
10. New, big Xbox 360 title
11. Assassin's Creed III mutiplayer announced
12. Call of Duty PS Vita previewed
13. Half Life 3 is announced

Sony have said this year is all about Vita, Move and 3D, so i expect these areas to dominate. I don't know what to predict, but what I'd like to see is:

Apparently Sony has a lot "bubbling away under the surface". We have seen glimpses of things like Title Fight and other such things. Will be an exciting time!

A sequel to the 2008 PoP

I'm stumped, after those few things i don't really want anything else. I'd much rather some surprises that i wouldn't expect at all.

I have a very strong feeling at Sony's presser Insomniac is going to take the stage and give a gameplay demo of Overstrike (their new IP)

Aside from that, there will be of course some sales stuff and heaps of Vita annoucnements, HEAPS. But I can't pick what...

Information on Doom 4 would be spectacular. More detail on Vita games and perhaps some Guild Wars 2 confirmation for console (with footage) would also be very welcome.

We're not going to see anything on Kingdom Hearts 3, considering Nomura and his team still need to wrap up development on Final Fantasy Versus XIII (which we'll more than likely end up seeing at this year's Tokyo Game Show).

And it was already announced before that Assassin's Creed III would include multiplayer. We'll likely get a 10 to 15-minute developer walkthrough of the game at this year's E3 though. As for Half-Life 3, I believe Valve are planning to announce the game when people least expect it.

I'm expecting to see footage of Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us, and whatever title Quantic Dream are currently working on with their new engine as well. Aside from Sony and Microsoft possibly announcing their next-gen consoles, I think these will be the biggest titles to talk about once everything is said and done.

I really cant understand when ppl say this gen is dragging on. 2011 and 12 are shaping up amazingly. On top of the myriad of amazing games last year, this one we get games like Bioshock Infinite, Aliens: CM & Borderlands 2, The Last of Us, Starhawk, Dust 514, Prototype 2, and so on and on and on. Next gen isn't needed to create amazing and unique gaming experiences. Next gen will have higher res and better textures and frame rates, but all the tech in the world cant make up for the creatively stale minds. Dragging on = everyone has their engines sorted and can now focus on content, which is what we're seeing these days with the shitload of AAA games we have had and will have in the next 9 months and beyond. Sony are moving towards free to play MMOs it would seem, Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 are coming...Well, my PS3 will be getting used for years to come.

Lol at HL3 announcement. They will do it whenever they please. I would really some info on Kingdom Hearts 3. I would also like an announcement for a new Burnout. I wasn't a fan of Paradise. I might be the only one but I hated it being open world.

There's no contradiction. I was addressing two different points in a way that wasn't very clear (on 3rd vodka ). 1) My opinion that there are shit load of amazing games coming that are really high quality and unique. 2) That people who aren't getting excited by this current gen probably aren't going to be satiated that much next gen other than by the graphical improvements (whatever they may be).

Hmmm, well, think I'm sufficiently vodkad enough for some BF3.

I look forward to the next gen because it is exciting. There may not be a lack of games right now or in the immediate future but in my opinion 6 years is long enough for a console generation. I don't want to be waiting 10 years and the rest in the future when tech improves so quickly. I see no point in staying in this generation beyond next year to be honest. People love new things. We don't live long as it is, if I only got new consoles every 10 years I'd be disappointed.

I'm hoping for NO new-console info. I'm perfectly happy with the progress being made on the ones we already have, and am in no hurry to replace them yet. Demos, release dates and new-game announcements are all I want.
