try ebay? They seem to range from $45 - $158 on there. Not sure on versions though, but this is the cheapest at a quick glance:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/CodeBreaker-M...item43ae97a308 Thats for the "Most Wanted" version.

Granted, I wouldnt use those. I bought one once, cause I had issues on a few games. I barely even used the thing and it ended up corrupting my memory card. Guess it was my bad, cause it had important games on it like Monster Hunter - which i sunk so much time into the online.. X_X

Maybe find a friend with a chipped Playstation? Both my PS1 and 2 are chipped which is great for backing up data off memory cards, ntsc/pal converters and code breakers.

I was never really into it for the piracy.

PS4 has little to no competition.

Ok there is a huge issue with this question.

    1. do not look for a codebreaker codebreaker is now defunct and you will have a hell of a time finding codes for it

    2. get a action replay codejunkies still supports it

What on earth are you talking about? Just because the original website for the cheat device is defunct doesn't mean the database of codes are gone. In fact, there are various sites that contain all of Gameshark and Codebreaker's codes all the way back like http://gamehacking.org (which unfortunately just went through a super dumb makeover that sucks balls).

Last year I did major research on PS2 cheat devices to get myself caught up to speed since it is a major interest of mine and found that my best bet was ARMAX (latest version) and then just use either Maxconvert and/or Omniconvert to use all codes from all cheat devices on it. It can get pretty complicated and even I have trouble getting everything to work straight. I attempted to use converted codes on it and it rejected them everytime...I must be missing something and I'm in the "process" of figuring that one out.

I hear around the hacking circles that codebreaker is the "best" one but its very hard to find now and very expensive. Its definitely a hobby I could really sink my teeth into but is it ever difficult to get into it. Long before I can even start anything my interest wanes and move onto something else or I get busy.

I doubt it, that would take years and years of research and programming to make a cheat software homebrew yourself when there are already ones available. Then you would look back at those years and realize that you just wasted all that time with little reward or output.

I don't follow at this point...we're talking about where to find a cheat device online for the PS2. If your talking about using Google to find it, that ship has sailed eons ago per the OP's first post.

I think you misunderstand, my post was talking about building a homebrew software from scratch that just a google search would not provide you with all the information instantly...similar to how searching for cheat devices for the PS2 on google may not give you what you want instantly either. "Years of research and programming" would actually involve google searching anyways most likely.
