It comes with a very sad heart that I have to post this. I have a dear friend who has been with us for 26 years. He had a battle with cancer a couple of years ago, and was thought to be ahead of it, we thought he won the ultimate battle. About six months ago, he found out it had returned, and spread to his brain and liver. He's been undergoing chemo and some experimental treatment. Until now, things were actually looking very good for him.
Until yesterday. Because of his abscence from work, his short term disability has run out, and he's losing his medical benefits. I've been helping where I can, but I can't do it alone. I'm asking with a heavy heart for my fellow PSU friends to help me. If anyone can send any amount of donations for my friend, it will be greatly appreciated.
Please use the "donate" button below. Thank you PSU, CUGUY, as well as the rest of the staff, and Mr. B.
If the donation link isn't working for you, please just go to paypal.com and click the send money link. Use votremort@yahoo.com for the email address to donate as a gift, or donation.
Thank you all again.
SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM LYNN AND HIS FAMILY
Officer F34R one of xxxxxxxx finest. Can't find the words to express the gratitude we r feeling. The generous love offering u and your friends gave us is greatly appreciated. Lynn and I are going to use it to travel back and fourth to the Dr's for radiation treatments. u brought a lot of tears. May God bless and keep you safe. God has put some special friends and family in our lives. There r Angels among us.
update 04/12/12
Lynn went back to the doctors yesterday for some more scans to see how effective the treatments have been. A few of the spots have gotten smaller, but a few have gotten larger and have spread to other areas. We continue to pray and put our faith in God to help us through this difficult road.

Man, shit like this is why there should be nation health care. It is retarded that you can just lose coverage when you need it the most.

I will be donating a good amount in few days.
When I clicked the donate button it took me to the PayPal donation page. Seems to be working for me, unless the problem is actually submitting the money.

I vote for this thread to be stickied in this section.

And if F3AR doesn't mind, he could provide us updates on how his friend is doing every once in a while.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

For cases like this, every penny helps. Even if you can only donate a couple dollars. It all adds up!

Thank you everyone... I really appreciate the sentiments and donations. I'll try and keep everyone updated as much as possible. If you donate, please PM what email address you donated from. The very least I'd like to do is let the family send everyone a thank you email, or thank you letter to a mailing address. Whichever you would prefer. I'll try and do something else for everyone later on.

Added the email address to use for donations if the link isn't working for you.

It is through paypal. You don't necessarily need a paypal account. You can use debit cards, etc.

Will donate what I can (just came home having to spend extra money to get out of the floods in Fiji). Sorry to hear that mate.
Will edit this post with the confirmation code. Make sure to let me know that there aren't any issues in receiving the funds.
All the best.
