Will the Next Xbox be more powerful than the PS4?

I plan on waiting a year or two into the next gen to see how things play out. MS kinect approach is not looking very good to me, whereas Sony, like always has all the games I want. But i guess we'll see when the time comes. If xbox3 turns out to be significantly more powerful than I may switch trains.

i will do just what i did this time. buy both so i don't have to give a shit who comes out with what and who sells better

I reckon Sony's console will be more powerful it fits in with their ethos. I do think however that the will cut costs on the hardware they use, because people prefer cheap and nasty.

They will practically be the same with one having better cpu, the other a better gpu. ram will most likely be the same and they will both push the "only possible on our hardware" line, because of the way the devs take advantage of said hardware.

I will probably get the playstation though. Will probably be prettier.

Epic says their unreal engine 4 wont work with 2gb RAM. They say 4gb is okay but 8gb is perfect.
I personally don't think 8gb is gonna happen but I hope they go with atleast 4gb
