Gears of War: Exile is cancelled, confirms Epic

The rumours weren't a lie - Gears of War: Exile was a real thing. Unfortunately, you will never play it.

Epic's Cliff Bleszinski has confirmed that the rumored title was indeed in development, but has been slammed in the trash before ever being announced."Let's just bury the hatchet now," he told Gamespot. "Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can't give any details about that has since been cancelled."
In 2010 'industry insiders' said a Kinect Gears of War title is in the works at Epic Games.
Then, early last year, Epic Games quietly filed a trademark for Gears of War: Exile and registered a logo to go along with it. The logo, which is the series' trademark skull in a gear along with the the Gears of War name and the world 'Exile beneath it', didn't give away much.
Unfortunately that logo it like all you'll be seeing of it.

I say this game will resurface on the next xbox with a much better Kinect interface a hardware.

Gears of War is a franchise i don't really want to see turned into a Kinect game. Though if Kinect 2 brings more to the table next generation we'll see.
