Anyone getting dark souls?

So is anyone picking this up? I am even tho played it for ps3. Want to see extra bosses. Hopefully it has controller support.

Love it on PS3, if it gets a graphical overhaul it would just be icing on the cake.

I'm not disputing they were good on PS3 (or X360) but I'd expect more out of a PC in the graphics department. Maybe 'overhaul' wasn't the right word, they don't need redone - just improved to match the platform.

@Yuuichi, will definitely look to pick it up. Great to hear it's coming.

It's a 1:1 port with two additional bosses. What I'm looking forward to is mods, like one where I can join a game with a friend and not have to worry aobut our soul level being near each other. That, and a proper invite system.

Yeah I didn't think about the mods till now. Now I am even more excited.

mods would be badass in dark souls. Where do you thinkthe bosses will be? something like the painted world? I think the could stick one after the Iron Golem. There was the big archway with rubble filling it in behind it. To me that looks like a ground path to anor londo. It'd be awesome to open that arch up and have a foot path to anor londo going through some cool anor londo-esque climb up the city. For the second i have no idea.

@ps3isawesome: dark souls is an amazing for some. Its very challenging, but once you understand it, you can have a blast with it. The bosses are the best parts of this game, epic and hard. The story is also something else. Its a dark fantasy and is incredibly robust. you have to discover teh story and piece it together bit by bit, so there is an investigation aspect to the game which adds to the experience. You won't be disapointed with it as long as you don't rage quite lol.

hokay. I had actually just picked this up again just befre this thread in an attempt create my perfect character. Lvl cap 120 yadda yadda yadda. Well, i'm currently lvl 96 and i'm in New Londo Ruins. I HATE New londo. Its nt that its to hard, just them ghosts...god i hate em. Well, i wanted some company to pass this lvl, but nobody wants to go down into new londo for summons. IDK if its my lvl or if people hate it as much as i do. What do you have for tips on getting summoned down there. Where to look etc.

This is supposed to have easier friend matchmaking, and pvp. Hopefully this means specific summoning of people.

Bosses rumored to be chimera of the tomb and abysswalker motha fuckin artorias! New boss armor too.

Hawkeye gough is rumored to be an npc is this as well. Hope he is summonable. Also 2 new dungeons to play through obviously...

Maybe well finally figure out what the pendents for lol.

Not sure tips will help me, I just suck. I'm at that fortress place (after the two bells) and the layout, the enemies.. just find it all so frustrating lol

Snake dudes aren't hard to backstab. Try summoning someone. I find some people specialize in a particular area with warriors of sunlight. I for example do runs of the painted world. I know others also specialize in sens fortess. If you can't summon the just take it easy. Get a shield with good poise. Eagle shield is a light weight one if that's an issue. Back stab and memorize where the traps are. Once you figure the traps out it's cake cus snake dudes aren't hard just a ton of hp.

Imo Sen's Fortress is just a huge pain in the ass not fun at all, it gets more interessting on the top though.
You'll love the level that comes next Fenix so keep moving and give em hell

Idk anor londo couldve used a couple npcs. Huge city and its mostly empty.

The game will be locked @ 720p/30fps on PC!! I'm pretty sure i'm gonna pass since i can get it on the PS3 for around $30 and play it tomorrow.
