They pretty much nail it with this video. The gaming industry has changed too much and continues to evolve in bad ways and I fear it will crash again because of these online passes and any other ways they might try to restrict your playtime through DLC, unlock keys and monthly or yearly fees. I can understand they need to combat piracy, but this will just make it worse.

If I'm paying a premium then I want the game to be $10-20 cheaper after taxes. I was at Rogers Video the other day and I found out they are going out of business. I basically have nowhere to rent games anymore, I have to buy them. Anyway, discuss because this is bad news for gamers.
