Microsoft reveals E3 2012 Press Conference Schedule

Following Sony's announcement on Monday for when it will hold its 2012 E3 press conference, Microsoft revealed when it will unveil all of its big game announcements for the Xbox 360.
Microsoft will be the first of the big three console makers to as it scheduled its 2012 E3 press conference for Monday, June 4 at 10 a.m. PST.

Gamers should expect more revelations not only for Xbox 360 exclusives like Halo 4 but for third-party games like Call of Duty as well. Kinect will likely play a significant role yet again as presenters spent a large amount of time during the 2011 conference showing off the motion control sensor with "core" games like Mass Effect 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Expect to see more of a push in that direction this year as Microsoft tries to prove that Kinect is for more than just waving your arms and jumping.

I predict MS to extend their contract for another year for early DLC on Black Ops 2. I also predict the announcement of the next Xbox (even though they said they won't be I think they will).

Someone mentioned before, in another thread, that Microsoft probably won't announce their next-gen console because it would take most of the attention away from Halo 4. I think the same thing can be said for Sony and the PlayStation 4 as the PlayStation Vita is still fairly new to the gaming industry.

That's true. Sony will most likely focus more on Playstation 3 and Vita to make the latter more appealing. Next gen hardware will only draw attention away from that when both still have much potential.

On topic: Not sure how much of an impact their next Xbox reveal will have on Halo 4 but I don't believe that it will dwindle sales(Halo is crazy popular after all). Microsoft doesn't have much to show this year nor the next(That I know of), so this is the best opportunity then anything for a new hardware reveal. There is still room for surprises.

You never know, we could get something special in 2013 before the next xbox arrives.

And halo 4 will be discussed prominently, so we at least get that.

Talks about how iconic it is, Its importance to the industry, New direction and key members.

-Talk numbers for a few minutes
#1 console for x amount of months, money spent on the platform, strength of xbox live and its partners, goals for the end of the year.

-Show Kinect and Media partners content and plans for the year
kinect game sales, How its moving the industry, how MS is expanding the use of the box, new video partners announced.

-New Hardware/Phone support
controllers, HDD ect, nokia and xboxlive and live as a platform to expand into other markets.

-One or more of CoD, Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Borderlands, Tomb Raider ect. will take the spotlight announcing some type of exclusive content.

-Forza, Fable, get trailers
-New MS studios show teaser trailers of new games and old franchises reborn.

-(hoping for content like crysis/halo showing next gen footage but just showing coming to xbox 2013 and building some buzz for the new console reveal for CES)

Hopefully an awesome Halo 4 demonstration. Other than that I expect MS to bore us to death with mostly Kinect stuff like last year. More father and son co-op Kinect demonstrations too. "Great job dad." "Thanks son." lol

I predict I'll watch it like I always do even though I don't own a 360 or ever plan to..and be very bored.

I just watch it for the 3rd party stuff that is coming to the PS3 too.

And that the 360 9 times out of 10 gets the better looking and/or playing version of.
