I'm going to attempt to get in to Halo 4 more than I got in to Reach. Reach lasted me a couple months before I stopped playing it. Might get some rest and pull an all nighter.

I was seriously considering those Tangos.... give me an impression on them! I can get the Hardened BLOPS2 + Tango for $334, as opposed to $380. Would it be worth it?

After I finish with work I'll test them out, can't wait to try them with Black Ops 2 mostly as the headset was optimized for the game supposedly.
9 presets, totally programmable, truly wireless (2.4 and 5GHz), surround. All points that were selling points to me that no other headset offered, though I considered the Astro A50's but they are fail headsets because of all the faults.
That was not very nice.

I suck terribly at Halo. 2 games in and I have only mustered 10 kills total, 5 in each game. Dying a total of 29 times seemingly by a single hit, yet I can pump lead in to people and they live.

Aim for their head.
At close range hit them, then shoot them, or run in and shoot at them while running in and them thump em.
Watch your shields, a single hit will kill you but only if your shield is down.
The whole game is about taking their shield down as quickly as possible.

Halo 4 is half the game it should be
So anyone can get on Metacritic it seems. This is Halo 4. A shiny old dog without any new tricks. I got more out of the Halo 1 remake, which at least had the appeal of nostalgia. Playing through an updated version of the original Halo was at times tired or tedious. But it was also a reminder of the raw genius that launched the series. There is none of that in Halo 4, which is a drawn-out retread without any fresh perspective or energy, and furthermore missing a lot of what I need to pull me through a Halo game. Halo 4 demonstrates that if there’s one thing worse than more of the same, it’s less of the same.
User reviews have Halo 4 at a 3.0 average.
No trolling out there, is there?

Surprised the metacritic is where it is to be honest

The amazing I am finding is that , yes objectives may not have changed, but everything else has been tweaked to hell. The game contains plenty new, so there is little to say about both quarter 3, and EGM's reviews other than this.
Halo 4 is without doubt the pinnacle of arena combat games. Games that require you to take cover, flank and dodge you enemy. It is not a corridor shooter with a single waypoint that advances the game regardless of how many enemies you have killed.
In an area of games which require little to know skill to complete, halo had always been a series of games that do require a bit of thought than run and gun, therefore it can be concluded that these reviewers are not in fact looking for a game that requires actual gameplay.
