It was supposed to be at my door today, but has been delayed.

The criticism that both level, that there is little new simply astounds me. The first time I picked up the heavy machine gun I was like, oh hello this is new. The first bout of zero g troops I was like. Ok this is not normal, the list goes on.

My productivity has decreased today. I stop every 30 mins or so just to smell the inside of the game case. No better smell in this world to a gamer, than the inside of a newly bought game. MMMMmmmm.....

You should have gotten it on release day... the amazon order got hear a few hours ago. My daughters took over the game and were playing it before I got a chance to get at it lol.

Amazon is pulling some BS. Seems they used a no name company (lasership) and the delivery estimate was changed from today to the 8th.

I can't imagine prime members being happy with no name shipping companies being used over UPS/FEDEX or even the USPS.

First time Amazon has failed me, but I guess it was inevitable.

Did you consider the possibility that he may be misinformed or even lying?

There is no way they cold have gotten it earlier than during the 3rd week of october. The game went gold on Sept. 26. It would take at least 3 weeks to go through certification and creation of disks/packaging before they could start shipping copies to retailers. Not to mention, I didn't hear of any US stores leaking copies or welling the game before it came out which would be rather hard to prevent if they were sitting on it for nearly a month.

Things may be somewhat different for AUS/NZ due to your geographical location, but that wouldn't occur in the USA.

I've been playing the campaign and its amazing! And the weapon sounds are are on a whole new level now. There was 300 people at the midnight launch last night so I picked mine up this morning instead. lol

Wel most people consider 4 weeks a month here, so I think he's probably had it out the back since mid October.

just played 3 hours straight

first impressions (and i'm going to number them again - i'm not sure why)

i'm sure no.1 isn't a spoiler, but just in case.

1. i have no idea what the sentinals are, or what the fuck this planet is, even though i've played most of the halo games. i've definitely seen them before, but can't remember where. i've obviously just not been listening.
2. seems alot more story oriented, quite like it. i should listen more.
3. at first, action wise, i thought something was missing from the combat. definitely preferred Reach, but when the new weapons and enemies came in, it was really decent. i like it. not sure its *better* than Reach, just different so far. really like the new sniper.

that is all. terrible review. 2/10.
