Played the Stress Test to death and amazingly it was very smooth indeed, that was until North America finished work! But it was still decently smooth.

Oh and Yuuichi you can download the game now as you've pre-purchased the game, so you'll be able to play in all Beta events.

You can't get an invitation anymore, you must pre-purchase the game in order to enter the Betas. Basically you pre-purchase, get the box with the code (or email if bought via a DD platform), register your name and serial, then download the client after registering.

And hope you're all ready to go with just over 4 hours to go.

I made the mistake of thinking my installation would only be a couple of files or so. Oops. Downloading now but looks like it might take another 30 mins or so. After that, I'm all over it.

Well just had a good 17-ish hours of Guild Wars 2 this weekend, got from level 12 to 31 and managed to do a dungeon run of the Ascalon Catacombs. The amount of detail they've put into this game is astounding.

Do you run into other players more often? I stopped playing the first GW because it felt like I was just running around in my own instance most of the time.

Considering that it's a closed beta there's loads of people around. At some stages you think "oh there's no one around here" while you're in the most remote place ever, then you come across something you are about to die against, then you suddenly see several people come out of nowhere to help you out. It's amazing to see and to think that the population now is going to be remote to what you'll see in the released game.

Gotta agree with you on this one, my cousin and brother have both played it and said I HAD to try it, but I do not want to spoil any of the surprises that comes with the first time playing at the release! (:
