Guild Wars 2: Names/Locations in OP!

I'm ready. I loved GW and finally got someone who wants to play with me. Last time me and my buddy played and once we hit 20, he pretty much quit. I'm just hoping I can handle the bandwidth usage on it. Have Att wireless internet with 5 GB limit. I usually go to friends houses for updates and what not.

Sure! Always can use more people in a group. It's only one other friend that will be playing with me. One thing I do remember about guild wars was you had to have a diverse team to be efficient.

Since people can be in multiple guilds we should make a guild that all of us can join so if we ever need someone to play with we will always have someone from here.

I think we should rock the PSU name as a Guild...that way it's something we can grow together as a site. I'd be down for joining as well.

Doesn't matter to me what it's named. It will mostly be PSU members that are in it anyway I'm sure. But I'm not one for being leader.

Really? I wasn't aware GW2 allowed multiple guilds, thats definitely a plus.

As for a leader, you suggested it, why not you? Unless you'd rather not.

I will not explain why since it would be a long boring story so lets just say i would be a terrible leader.

I got a question.
What do we do about the non usa members here? There are European servers for a reason so do we make 2 guilds or 1 and hope everyone doesnt lag? If i remember correctly the USA servers are in Texas and the European servers are in Germany.

I think it goes
North and South America = USA(Texas) servers
Europe, Asia, and Australia = European (Germany) servers

I'm already an Officer for GW2 in the clan I'm in. We're hoping to get at least 80 of us at launch onto GW2 so I won't have any time whatsoever to joining another guild.

All I can say is that the Sylvari and the Asura have a great array of customisation and they look much better than they did in the videos to boot!

Not going to be playing much of this BWE for a reason as it's just a month till launch but all I can say is this, WOW!

Fell into the trap despite not wanting to and downloaded the beta client today. Checked out a couple of characters, etc...but didn't play much past that -- never exceeded Lvl 2. Some of the openings feel a bit overwhelming in terms of dynamic events, but overall, I was pretty impressed with it when compared to the original.

On an even higher note -- received a job interview opportunity next week from Arenanet today to be a GM for I believe Guild Wars 2 -- so that should be awesome if I can land it.

Every time I'm on my gaming PC, I check for an update. Most times, there's one of some sort there. I'd advise people to check regularly the closer it gets to release, to avoid a potentially long wait to get playing!

Can't wait to get in to the full game come August 28. Actually, 3 days sooner than that as a pre-purchaser.
