If you're planning on getting it release day, I'd recommend jumping in a little sooner. Believe pre-purchasers are still getting a 3 day head start, which is this coming Saturday.

Between Guild Wars 2 and Dota 2, I just don't think I'll have time to play anything else, Lol.

Guess what's come? The CE!

I just need to find a place to put that figurine, it's seriously massive!

On the side of the box it had the label "NC Soft - GW2-CE-UK on it so there was no mistaking that when I opened up the box it was what I thought it was.

Unlike Felicia Day at least I didn't have a problem getting it out of the box.

The first thing to pull out was Rytlok, the picture doesn't do this thing justice, the hand painting is phenomenal, and it's pretty weighty too.

Then it was to pull out the Case and take everything out from within it, this is the Case and the Picture Frame.

Along with the art that goes along with it, again the pictures doesn't do this justice. At the bottom is the "Making Of" book with tonnes of concept art in it.

And the most important part of the game, the game itself! Oh and of course the mini taster OST which I will most likely purchase.

And the whole picture with everything out!

For those that got the CE too, you'll be in for a treat.

I can not wait to play this. Its what 25 it goes live? Dosent surprise me Felica had a problem opeaning the box lol hate her. Ugh I wanna play my engineer now.

I believe it's midnight on the west coast of the US meaning Saturday morning at 8am BST (7am GMT). ANet have said though that depending on how things go they might release the game a few hours earlier than planned, if that's the case then 5am it could start.

Sounds good. I'll be at the gym for 9am and by noon, I'll be all over Guild Wars 2.

MY guild (Apex) is heading to Desolation which is the unofficial UK server - well it's the one with the most UK guilds on anyway.

I've got work up until 2pm so after that and lunch I'll be playing this game to death. Hooray for bank holidays, what perfect timing.

Are people deleting their beta client and going with a full fresh installation? Or just continuing with the beta client & updates?

I'm continuing with the Beta client as they said the client will upgrade to the full released client.

The beauty about Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 is that the entire game is held in a single truncated file. The entire game runs from 2 files: GW2.exe and GW2.dat.

As for the server, I think I'll be on the Aurora Glade; at least for starters.

It said that in my email from Anet incase you guys didn't catch it. I'll be waiting anxiously and click-spamming to get in

Hasn't Anet done everything in PST? 3am would mean 12am PST but if they start it up 3 hours early that makes it at 12am EST. I'm in EST as well. But I plan on staying up till it turns on haha.

Man I played it some last night. Sadly didn't get name I wanted but got a good one. I enjoy it. Not sure if I am going to play when I get off work. I'm thinking it'll be slammed and may have problems.
