Has to be the play by mail feature, with a hectic uni lifestyle the ability to check in & make my moves on an a-synchronous basis without committing a lot of time to a game would definitely win me over

I tend to find with a lot of board games, people can get bored of it so hopefully it would fix this issue too

My favorite feature would be the extensive tutorials.

Oddly (timing wise) a few friends have started chessing it up and i have never touched a chessboard in my life. would be a great way to secretly train and challenge them.
A great way for a Newbie such as my self to come to grips with chess, i like!

-Play By Mail with up to 8 of your friends.
I think this is the best feature because it basically makes it just as playable as real chess if not more so because you always have a real opponent and it's so much easier than only being able to play in person.

my favorite feature is the fact that it in 3D! Not only does this help me enjoy my 3D TV (and 1080p graphics) but it even allows me to enjoy chess the way it was meant to be played. Wooden, non-3D chessboards are so "not 21st century." Pure Chess in 3D is what I envisioned people would be playing in the future and the future is here!

My favorite feature is the tutorial. I enjoy chess, but an easy way to learn advanced techniques is fantastic. Maybe I could actually play a game against my friend who is way too good at chess if I learned from this game, lol.

My favourite feature has got to be the play by mail integration.
I've never heard of it before and would be very intrigued to try it out. I also like the fact that these developers have produced the game for both Vita and PS3 and still managed to produce gorgeous graphics on both.
    Two thumbs up!

My favourite feature is the fact that I can track my ELO rating and see how I compare with the greatest Pure Chess players on PSN. This feature will also allow me to find the ELO ratings of my friends on PSN and since i'm a competitive person, i'll try my best to obtain a greater ELO rating than all of them.

Thanks PSU and good luck everyone.

I'm looking forward to the Play By Mail feature. I'm an old skool geek who played a lot of chess by email in late 90s. That was a lot of fun. I like that there are 8 slots too. Should stop it getting too boring if one person takes a while to get back to you.

I personally think the Play by Mail feature is the real winner from the feature set, especially if you can combine it with the ELO rankings as you can then have your own little 'mini-league' with your friends

There are two feature that make me want this game, the tutorials so I can finally learn all the rules of the game(I play a lot with the family but I do know there are few things we haven't learnt). The second feature and the main reason I want the game as to be the play by mail, always love seeing that in films where the players play by letters. So I'm looking forward to that, all I need to do now is get a friend to get the game too.

I used to often play chess on summer evenings with a friend a couple of years ago, it was tons of fun, but my level never really increased. I tried online but I wasn't really good enough. I can't wait to go through the tutorials. I certainly don't mind getting better at chess.

Probably the different levels of tutorials ranging from basic, intermediate, to advanced chess techniques. I already have a grasp of the basics of chess but would love to gain a greater understanding of the more advanced strategies of chess and how to plan my long term moves better. I often end up reacting to my opponent rather than taking the initiative during games. I really need to get better during my opening and middle game.

I have tried to read online articles about some of the different types of gambites but find it difficult to truly learn from reading just descriptions of them online by myself without any interaction with players. These interactive tutorials sound like the perfect option to provide a much more practical way to help improve my game while providing an opponent to suit my skill level. Also as its available on Vita which is great as I would have the freedom to be able to improve my game anywhere and not constrained to sitting infront of computer monitor at a desk or with a book on my own.

Also looking at those screenshots I am amazed at how realistic those graphics are I knew the Vita was capable of great graphics but those are best I have seen yet the reflecctions on pieces/board are outstanding.

In my opinion most of the features are very very welcome and I'm a big chess lover the more real it looks is better but what I like most about playing chess is to play against real people so my favorite feature is *Play By Mail with up to 8 of your friends* , and other features are also seems very valuable in terms of practising the game, thank you for the giveaway :]

**I'd have to say the "Comprehensive tutorial that teaches you basic, intermediate, and advanced chess techniques" feature would be my favorite because I only play chess here and there for fun and learning new techniques is always good to help improve ones skills.

My favourite feature is play by mail, it's a good feature that more games could make usage of on PSVita/PS3. Grand strategy, turn based strategy, chess, pool/snooker and anything else that you can take in turns could all make use of this style of play, in theory.

My favourite feature is play by mail, Chess isn't exactly a fast paced game, so you can take your moves and go do something else without worrying that you're taking to long to take your go.

The feature I am most looking forward to is the comprehensive tutorial system.

I've always wanted to be a grandmaster chess player (ok, well maybe a more competent chess player) and I believe that the tutorial system will give me the guidence I need to comfortably ease past my opponents.

"Comprehensive tutorial that teaches you basic, intermediate and advanced chess techniques"

This says it all! I am absolutely useless at chess and would need this to even consider playing! Nice touch that it also teaches you different levels.
