PS3's top 5 biggest letdowns

the list is agreeable, but their are a few that are more of a letdown than on the list there

PS+ is actually one of the better things that has happened, IMO. Fantastic value for money

Co-sign. PS+ has been pretty good, IMO. Could it be better? Yeah, but it's not bad. I've got quite a few free games out of it.

the XMB is (and always has been) a let down as is the trophies system and how it works.

thanks to plus i rarely suffer from it now, but the age it takes to download/install and then up-date a game is shocking.

I agree with Lair and Haze being a huge letdown.

My top 5 PS3 letdowns:

1. Sony removing features/hardware (PS2 b/c, OtherOS, account limit changed from 5 to 2, removing 2 USB ports, removing memory card reader......)
2. Haze
3. Insufficient memory (Reason why cross chat is not possible)
4. Lair
5. Metal Gear Solid 4 not getting trophies (Damn you Kojima! Damn you!)

The biggest letdown for me is the lack of mandatory demos for PSN games, and over all lack of demos in general (though retail demos have started to improve).

Agreed. Plus DLC support has been very weak on alot of first party games like KZ3 (only two map packs?) and MS Apocolypse for example.

To each its own I guess, but Lair was all shades of awesome in my book. Controls were fine, soundtrack was stellar and graphics were awesome for the time (despite the texture pop up).

My biggest PS3 letdown is that i don't have enough time to play it.

I don't know what my biggest let down is. I could say the sloppy ports, but I thoroughly enjoyed games like Bayonetta which was one of the worst and Sony's 1st party content was badass enough to make sloppy ports a non issue for me. I don't use my mic much so cross game chat was no sore point for me. I don't really care about the loss of OoS or BC, however the USB ports were a loss.

Actually, my biggest PS3 letdown is PS3 Skyrim not getting voice command control.

just wish the PSN was better and a more better community and more in depth like XBL with the bio.. profile etc and the crap ps3 ports annoy me because with games like uncharted, killzone, resistance it obvs shows the console is capable of better things than 360. Devs are just lazy and lick microsofts arse

I agree, it didn't have much to offer in the beginning but now they are putting better titles on there so I'm happy I have it and the automatic updates are convenient.

My letdowns?
PS3 is way above capable yet has a shitty web browser, my other letdowns are more to do with this gen then PS3, its TOO onliney in the wrong way & western, don't rike it.

My single biggest letdown has been the memory issues. It's caused far too many sacrifices in far too many games.
