Third Person Shooters vs First Person Shooters

I'm all about 3rd Person tactical shooters. I just prefer the slower paced tactical gameplay. Apparently I'm not the only one since they just raised 200 thousand dollars for Project Taken

3rd person. I was over 1st person shooters after I beat Duke Nukem 3D back in the 90's.

I'll be one of those people in the middle. It all depends on the quality of the game. Lately I haven't played any 3rd person because there are mostly 1st and not 3rd games. Portal is a good example of a 1st person game I love, same with Deus Ex HR. Can't really think of any 3rd person games I've played.

Third person without a doubt.

I like being able to see my character ad their interactions in the world.

Also in third person view I feel more attached to the character

Third person for me, it is a much more enjoyable experience for me than first person.

I prefer third person games in general. Adventure, shooter, whatever. I like to see the character I'm controlling.

probably FPS for me, back in the good old days of playing Doom, Duke Nukem, then Goldeneye and Timesplitters.

TPS games. I used to play nothing but shooters before like Halo and COD and nowadays I'm sick of them. I'll still try the occasional FPS like Killzone or Resistance though.
