I can't pick one. There really isn't a preference at all.

I'm all about 3rd Person tactical shooters. I just prefer the slower paced tactical gameplay. Apparently I'm not the only one since they just raised 200 thousand dollars for Project Taken

3rd person. I was over 1st person shooters after I beat Duke Nukem 3D back in the 90's.

I'll be one of those people in the middle. It all depends on the quality of the game. Lately I haven't played any 3rd person because there are mostly 1st and not 3rd games. Portal is a good example of a 1st person game I love, same with Deus Ex HR. Can't really think of any 3rd person games I've played.

Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.

3rd person, you connect more with your character that way as well.

    Once more into the fray.

I would say FPS, but then I remember Max Payne.

    Naw, FPS for me.

It's hard to decide. I like both of them! But I can't choose both, so I'm going to say TPS, since I have a lot more TPS than FPS.
    FPS:
    Deus Ex HR
    Dead Island
    Far Cry 2
    Homefront
    Resistance 3

    TPS:
    Mass Effect 2
    Mass Effect 3
    Saints Row The Third
    Resident Evil 5
    Just Cause 2
    Gran Turismo 5

Well, it's almost equal lol, just one more TPS than FPS

    Third person without a doubt.

I like being able to see my character ad their interactions in the world.

Also in third person view I feel more attached to the character

Driving games don't count they usually have multiple viewpoints and most importantly are not shooters. DOH!

FPS. I personally don't get the point of having your character blocking the view like a dumbass.

Third person for me, it is a much more enjoyable experience for me than first person.

I prefer third person games in general. Adventure, shooter, whatever. I like to see the character I'm controlling.

probably FPS for me, back in the good old days of playing Doom, Duke Nukem, then Goldeneye and Timesplitters.

    love it.

TPS games. I used to play nothing but shooters before like Halo and COD and nowadays I'm sick of them. I'll still try the occasional FPS like Killzone or Resistance though.
