Which would you rather play? Do you prefer third person shooters or first person shooters? I can't even get the hang of first person shooters, so you already know my answer.

I never really played 1st person until this generation of games. Last gen was all about 3rd person. Even after playing so many 1st person I still prefer 3rd. Especially Gears or Uncharted.

In my opinion, they cannot be compared. FPSs are truer to the genre and TPSs inculcate a variety of other elements e.g Role-playing.
You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!

TPS > FPS IMO.
The only first-person games I enjoyed were Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Killzone. I just think third-person games deliver a more realistic experience. FPS games don't necessarily give you peripheral vision, they (mostly) don't utilize cover systems/blindfire/etc.__________
Awaiting: Deadpool, Payday 2, Tales of Xillia

3rd. Uwe Boll can make a FPS

Third person for me. FPS are ok, and I'll play them from time to time. But I just think they're too limiting from a gameplay perspective.
Thanks to THUGGEDOUT for the sig, The Black Wolf for the av.Life's too short to be sober! Drunk with power!

PS2 gen, I hated FPS but loved TPS. This gen, there doesnt appear to be many TPS that interested me at all - The few new ones that due, seem to feel like tis low quality, or have a control scheme im not that fond of

Hard to say. I like both types of shooters, but to me what matters more is the game itself. This generation I have enjoyed far more FPS games than TPS. If the game is done well, I really don't care what perspective I'm firing from.

Not like I hate TPS, I do not I do enjoy them if the game is good, its just that I feel more in control when playing a FPS, TPS always feel more cumbersome.
The lack of peripheral vision is to do with the low as heck FOV developers give the games these days sometimes as low as 60 degrees when 10 years ago it was closer to 90 degrees as in CS or half life.[IMG][/IMG]
