What is stopping you from buying Vita?
We have an on-running survey going at the moment that says only 30% of our community own a Vita. We'd love to hear why you don't have one, or don't want one.
Is it price? Lack of games? The fact that you simply don't want a handheld?

Only one reason I don't have one ...... I can't afford it. I see Amazon has the wifi version for only £179.95 and the 3g for £209.99, which isn't bad.
I would like to see the remote play working as well, but that wouldn't stop me buying if I had the cash.play the game!

I will get one, but the reason why i have not got one now is:
Not many games that interest me, there are a few i would buy but not worth the price of the vita yet
I am hoping that a new vita will be released soon with a better battery life( unlikely though)
Not many apps, i know this might sound stupid but its a big thing for me. I don't mean game apps, i mean the other types of apps.
The price is not that appealing, again 1 game could change that ( gta
)
Waiting for E3 as i feel a deal might be released.

Waiting for a price drop. Even then, I think I've completely moved from consoles to PC.
You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!

I've got a Vita and am really disappointed in the lack of games available.
My Vita has sat on a shelf for weeks and I'm contemplating selling up.PS3 'slim' (WD 500Gb HDD) | PSP Go

I mean I've got one because I need to get one for work, but in truth I would probably have waited for 12 months for price drop, initial games to be cheaper and to see what other games will arrive. There's some great games on it though and Resistance: Burning Skies looks to be the game I'll be playing a lot of when it lands, but I did finish off the initial batch of games fairly quickly.

No games on it that interest me or no games coming in the future that interest me yet either and the price of the memory cards is a joke.
Theres not really many situations that i would use the Vita in either. When i commute i drive so i wouldn't use it for travelling and when i do go on long distance train/coach journeys i'd take my laptop with me and play a proper game. For small little times when i want a portable game (read: on the toilet) my iPhone is already more than enough.
It makes me wonder how many more generations of handheld consoles we will have left after this one.
[ED] I should add i do plan on buying one at a later date but at this moment in time i can't see any true reason for me to buy one other than i just want a flashy new toyI Like Games.

Great games? no. uncharted is the only good game for it atm. Amazon are doing an awesome deal atm. for vita, game and 5gig card for £185. i wish my missus got that deal for my bday.
Havent used it at all, only updated the software and am thinking of (still) getting her to send it back!

Price is the biggest factor, but admittedly I have been eyeing sluggish sales as well.
I would be royally pissed off if I invested that ridiculous sum of money only to have the thing tank like the PSPGo did.
I will wait for it to get its feet planted, price drop and get some more titles under its belt.

I want one like crazy, and would own it right now if I have the money to do so. Price is the only thing that stopped me from getting it. And it will be like that for sometime.

what is most sad to me is the hardware is awesome. Why it isn't selling is very obviously the price.
There was an article about Japanese devs waiting to see how it performed before committing to making games. My guess is with less than 30,000 sold in 4-5 weeks, they aren't seeing a lot of benefit (Japanese devs so I only used Japanese sales).

I bought one in hopes of remote play only to find "Content cannot be read during remote play" after that i was pretty dissapointed. I bought uncharted which kept me busy for about a week and after that its been sitting there on the shelf for about 3-4 weeks, hopefully when MK comes out tuesday I get some more play time out of it

I thought the price was one of the best things about it, it costs less than what i paid for my PSPGo!
Yeah i guess the longer it goes on for the less and less likely they will be to support it. I hope for Sony's sake they know what they're doing. Nintendo just seems to dominate the handheld marketI Like Games.

I agree the price point is probably one of the main things holding people back. I don't think thats because of the price of the Vita alone but more so to do with that the Vita is currently priced in the same range, in some cases even more, than the PS3/360 counterparts.
Would you spend more money on a handheld than you would on a home console, i know i wouldn't (but i have with the PSPGo and i wont do it again. i hardly used that thing i couldn't even tell you where it is in my room)I Like Games.

absolutely not. in fact, my twisted mentality says handheld gaming should cost roughly 50% of console gaming. So if I can get a PS3 for 249, I would like my handheld to be in the 125-150 mark. Games, since they are gimped in length usually, should be roughly 20-30 dollars, not 39-49.
Idealistic views yes, but since handheld gaming to me is not on the same level as consoles, it shouldn't be priced as such
