Portal 2 puzzle editor DLC warps to PC and Mac May 8

The "Perpetual Testing Initiative" DLC will arrive for the PC and Mac versions of Portal 2 on May 8. The free expansion will allow players to design their own puzzles, then publish them to the Steam Workshop for review and play by other players.

There's currently no word on when, or if, this content will be available on consoles. The PS3 version of the game supports Steam for multiplayer gameplay, but Steam Workshop support hasn't been announced; there's no Steam integration in the Xbox 360 version.

Great news. And it's free, which makes it even better.

I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS

Don't go around believing that Great Wizards solve all your problems, because there aren't any and they don't and I should know because I'm not one...

This would cost a small fortune if EA or Activision had anything to do with it.

Personally, the fact that I can't get any of the game's assets to be made available in Garry's Mod makes this free DLC a welcome addition to Portal 2. Besides, I've always wanted to create my own puzzles and share them with others.
