Sony, if the above survey is anything to go by, are toying with the idea of having multiple tiers of PlayStation Plus, or at least evaluating what they think the default deal should really feature and how it should be paid for.
Picked up by an IGN reader, the survey asks readers to choose between three different levels of Plus, each offering different perks and bonuses at different payment levels. The survey actually takes about fifteen minutes and tailors the choices depending on what you pick, which is why the Elite section is all marked as ‘no’ in the screengrab above.
The ‘Quality of Games’ choice made us giggle though.
In light of the survey going public, Sony say they “have nothing specific to announce at this time” and re-iterate that “PlayStation Plus continues to delight gamers with free games, huge discounts and exclusive gaming features that can’t be found on other platforms.”

They always come out with these surveys. I remember one came out before + and they asked us if we would like a membership service with X-Game chat which the majority voted for and it never happened.

Option 3 seems quite interesting... although seems to be cheaper than the other two options with ALL game and DLC in store...I am reading something wrongly?

In my opinion they should just scrap the tier idea and bundle + with online play and make it comparable to XBL Gold prices and add cross game chat and release it with the next console. Have a free PSN service that doesn't let you play online but you can browse the store etc and get demos free.
It's the only way they can make money and improve the service at the same time in my opinion.Steam ID: satchgear
XBL GT: satchgear

I wouldn't mind this. Might be a good idea for Sony to tier PS+. Option 3 seems to be the best out of all of them. Doubt that option will ever happen tho

The only downside of option 3 is getting 1 Free Full PS3 Game a year, where as the other two options are 10 and 5? However it will be 1 A game, where as it could be 6 C games, 3 B and 1 A

True, i didn't even see that. Considering that you get 61 "A" games and everything is 75% off, it's still the best. I would definitely get it.
