    lol I thought you couldn't really do that anymore, and had to ring MS support for that? Such a pain when I had to, after hours of searching for it on the convoluted settings.

    It's super easy.

    Turn off Automatic Renewal:

    Sign into Xbox.com > Account > Change Automatic Renewal.

    Delete credit card:

    Sign into Xbox.com > Account > Change Credit Card > Remove

    I couldn't have found it more simple when I did it.

    I think it depends on region. UUtil recently, I've always had to ring MS support lol

    its the same process in the UK too....i made sure to turn it off when i took advantage of the £6 for 3 months of gold deal they were doing over christmas, took about 1 minute.

    as a rule of thumb i never enter credit card details into consoles for this very reason, sucks that you got burned for it. Wouldn't get rid of your xbox for it though, but if you have your own reasons then fair enough .
