This comes as no surprise, this is MS's strategy now, Entertainment Evolved...I'm sure a media (and probably Kinect) heavy E3 is going to disappoint a fair few people.

I'll be watching for halo 4. I'm dvr'ing the whole e3 event so I can fast forward the boring parts.
Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the PS3/360 era when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the weaker specs.

Sounds boring, would be a good way though to segue into features for their next console I guess.

I'm watching it just to see if they demo Halo 4. Other than that I kind of expected the MS conference to be just as abysmal as last year.

they don't have much exclusive games to be talking about so they have to fill out the time somehow.

I'll watch all the shows. There is going to be at least a few things that'll be really interesting to hear about and see from each company.
It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.

yeah i forgot each year they seem to have something exclusive related to call of duty DLC.
if MS wants to steal the show, they should show off the their next console.

Whats starting to interest me is how every year we hear about the TV industry making it easier to get content to you and even bringing a Kinect like experience to their already smart tvs with apps like netflix, and vudu ect
Samsung announces HBO GO
Whats the value in Live as a service when your tv brings you the exact same functionality down to Kinect controls?
I think that's a question MS have to answer this E3, MS have to show what those plans are moving forward.
I think Live TV is going to be a push in through 2012, MS have hinted at it before and have had big plans for it. Maybe this live E3 broadcast is a showing of whats to come from them with broadcast TV over Live. A partner like NBC and the Olympics can really catapult that service over the summer.
I also think MS is going to focus on Live on multiple devices, again they've showed plans for this as well as working concepts and again we haven't heard much after that. It may be time for MS to finally flesh it out and provide a seamless experience from our Phones, and PC to the Xbox.Last edited by maltrophstitan; 05-08-2012 at 03:56.
